Superbcert & Michael B pics

Finally...I received my ring on Christmas Eve, but just got the digital camera and learned how to get everything uploaded..

Here are my ring stats: .92, F, SI1, Superbcert H&A, GIA cert. Crown angle 34.3, Pavil angle 41.1, culet V Small, Table 56.4, Depth 61.0, Diameter 6.29, Med faceted girdle. Medium blue flouro. Ring size is 6, but the ring is probably 6 1/4. I had sizing beads put in b/c it felt slippery when it got wet and my finger size changes during the day. The setting is a Michael B micro pave petite princess; a 1.8 or 2mm band (can''t remember) with 1 point fully cut diamonds.

Nancy Stacey in Walnut Creek was our independent appraiser (worth the drive from SF!), and we got the setting form Joe Escobar in Campbell, Ca. They actually set the diamond in the store sample setting (so lucky it was my size and I didn''t have to wait 6 weeks for the setting...I was impatiently waiting for ring!). We had a good experience with Superbcert, despite a timing slip up with diamond delivery for appraisal, and would recommend them highly. My fiance is so enamored of the flouro, he informed me there will be no upgrade that does not have at least medium, and preferably more. Absolutely no cloudiness. The colors that fly from this ring are spectacular. I''m absolutely thrilled with it.

First off, gorgeous ring! I absolutely love the diamonds in the band and how they really set off the center stone. Very dainty and elegant, and it looks gorgeous and white on your hand! (Nice french by the way!)

Second, since this has come up in another thread recently, I see you have sizing beads/speedbumps in the e-ring. Are they comfortable? Did you notice them at first, and if so, do you still notice them now?

woo hoo, an absolutely gorgeous diamond and Michael B masterpiece. It is so lovely. I love the smooth sides of this one vs. the other Michael B style which has different cuts in the metal.


I would also like to know about those sizing beads. I think I am going to ened some for my rings too!!
