Supporting a friend apparently on his deathbed, a close friend

What you did took strength @kenny some of it strength of character and some strength that comes from love and friendship. Even though you're not a touchy feely guy, I'm sending gentle air hugs.

Well done, Kenny. May your friend pass peacefully, there are worse things than death. May his life leave a glow and a sense of peace within you.

I admire those that can deliver words of comfort to the dying or the bereaved without dissolving in their own tears. I struggle with the emotion of it all, and find keeping a stiff upper lip almost impossible at those times.

That’s such a tough situation. It’s heartbreaking, but music really can connect us when words can’t. I’ve been there, and sharing memories and playing favorites for my friend seemed to lift his spirits, even if just a little. Just being there means a lot.

Kenny, I’m so sorry. I’m sure you were not only a great comfort to your friend but also to his family. It was very kind of his family to reach out to you and I’m certain they knew this would mean a lot to your friend.
