Surprise Engagement Celebration

Tonight I had a get together/meeting with my sorority sisters and they threw me a surprise mini-celebration! It was so sweet and thoughtful of them.

When FI proposed I could not call really any of my "sisters" b/c we have this special *coming out* ceremony once someone is engaged, and it's secretive etc. But once we had the *coming out* ceremony they were all so happy for me. Well we went around a week without meeting and met tonight where they all brought me gifts and a delicious cake that said "Congratulations MYNAME."

They gave me these adorable picture frames etc...I think it was very thoughtgul of them so thought I would share!

Yay! We sort of had an engagement party at the beach. We had a few theme nights planned before we went down there and the first one was Mexican night. They decided to turn Mexican night into an engagement party, but the only thing that made it engagementy (haha sooo not a word) was that we toasted. The toasting was fun though
