Suspicious Activity Thread

Would this count as suspicious activity? I am kind of wondering. Me and BF and going to Vegas b/f christmas. He told me he booked the hotel. When I asked for details he said "Let me go to the Ltlfirecracker folder to get the info" (my real name of course). I said, "you have a LTF folder on your computer?" He said yes. I said "what do you have in it?" and he said, "I can''t tell you that." I know it could be anything....but it raised my eyebrows.

Trillionare. You found your ring and didn''t look???? That takes some serious willpower, but I think the surprise will be worth it.

Its so fun reading all of your suspisious activity! We are some real detectives arent we? I hope it all leads to some holiday or 2009 proposals for everyone! So I have another one I just thought of. SO''s family always does a Christmas newsletter to fill im everyone of the important milestones the family has had the past year. Normally they ask us for a new pic of us to include in it and its usually mailed out by now. They havent mentioned anything about it which isnt like them. Could they be waiting to include some big news and thats why theyre putting it off? Ahh, wishful thinking.

Okay, so really this isn''t suspicious activity, but I had to share because it made me laugh.

Last night we went to SO''s parent''s house for dinner to celebrate SO''s and his dad''s birthdays (dad''s was yesterday, SO''s is today). His dad was asked to say "the blessing" over the meal. So he''s saying the prayer and thanking for his children and then said, "and thank you for, uh, well, I guess pretty much my daughter-in-law."...many chuckles and snickers by everyone! I was laughing about it again on our way home and SO laughed with me and reached over to rub my thigh and squeeze my hand.

I know I won''t be getting a proposal soon, but it just made me feel good that his family sees me as his future wife!

I can''t figure out how to quote in color on a Mac

We are overlapping by one day. I am coming 20-23. We are driving from San Diego (we did the math and it saves a ton of money to drive and stay an extra night). We are staying at the MGM grand. We got a good deal and it is at the end of the strip. The Marriott is really nice and affordable, but off strip. But i just found out they might have a tram service. Oh well, maybe next time.

Do you know of any jewelry places other than Tiffany''s????

Um. Jewelry stores...Cartier? Maybe? Bellagio, The Wynn, The Venetian all have the high end stuff. I kept running into giant canary diamonds in windows, and was too distracted by them to look to see what store it was and where it was at. I imagine Palazzo will have something too. Oh! And Caesar''s Palace with the Forum Shops!

We''re staying at the Mirage--it''s on the north end of the strip--well, middle of the Strip between Caesar''s palace and Treasure Island and across from Palazzo/The Venetian, but almost everything north of there is the old school stuff like Circus Circus.

What are you guys planning to do? We''re going to Mystere, and the Tournament of Kings as well. Not really sure what else...well, the free shows for sure, and maybe a little shopping.

I''m trying to not get my hopes up, but I''m keeping my fingers crossed for a Vegas proposal, because it would be absolutely perfect...

Have you been there before?

1) He asked me yesterday to txt him my friends number (she works in a jewlery store). I dont think he would actually get the ring from her but probably wants advice or something. She has been in the jewlery business since she was in high school.

2) He wanted to know how long my winter break was and how long I had before I went back to school for Spring Semester...I just took my last final for the semester last night (very relieved). But hes usually not so inquiring about things like that so it threw me off.

BTW i didn''t ask him why he needed my friends number because i knew he was gonna attempt to come up with something that he didnt have the answer to.

How nice that you all have a friend that knows about diamonds. If I hadn''t been ''guiding'' SO, lord knows what he would have come up with! But I did have a college friend that went shopping with his fraternity brother and he convinced his friend to buy a 10K ring!

Yes, I have been once about 4 years ago. The shopping is really great. And so is the nightlife. The drinking in the streets is a site to see. I am going to be looking into tickets to Circe de Solie for one of the nights. I was going to leave the other night open. Dinner? Clubbing? I am sure I will be hitting up the high end jewelry places.

I hope you get a Vegas proposal too, I know you have been waiting for a long time!

Went to my company''s holiday party this weekend...FF was a "chatty kathy" and from what I was told this morning from one of the ladies that I work with...When FF was talking to her he was especially interested in her ring...when she asked why he was interested he said "It''s kinda reminds me of the ring I''m giving ams"

...I think/know he had one tooo many!

Now her ring looks NOTHING like what I would want....so maybe there''s something similar...I don''t really care though...I just want it on my finger
