Is anyone having a sweetheart table?

We are thinking of having one for the reception.
For those who are having one or had one, how did you decorate it? (pictures appreciated)
Also, did you enjoy the time alone from guests?

We had one. It was set just like all the other tables, and was pretty small, so there wasn't much room for "decorating". I had a vase for my bouquet, and that was basically it. I think that the florist might have scattered some rose petals/orchids that she had left over from arrangements, but I can't even remember!

I did love having the time just to chat with my new husband. :) Since we weren't at a table with a bunch of people we got to talk about how cool it was to be married, and actually eat our delicious food since we weren't being interrupted. It was really nice and I would never make a different choice if I could do it all over again!

We''re skipping the sweetheart table as we decided we wanted to sit with our guests and we also have a space issue. But if we did have one, I''d decorate it with a special tablecloth.

We didn''t do anything too elaborate for ours, as it was taken down after dinner, but we had 2 serpant tables ( I think that is what the venue called them) to make a half circle , then we put votives along the edge and I put my bouquet in a vase in the middle. There are a few pictures that give an idea here: https://www.pricescope.com/community/threads/morgies-pro-pics-are-here.127194/

I am really glad we did a sweetheart table, it was the only time we really got to enjoy together alone on our wedding day, until after the reception was over. It was so nice to just take a short break from all of the action and enjoy our first married meal together.

I''m not married yet, but my sister had a sweetheart table at her wedding and it was really nice. They just decorated it with rose petals, votive candles, and her bouquet in a vase. It was nice b/c then the people in the wedding party who had significant others (about 8 of us did) could sit with them instead of leaving their date uncomfortable at a regular table.
