Ok, I''m still on a quest for a less expensive alternative to the T&CO alternating round and baguette band. I found this one on Ebay. Please give me your honest feedeback based on the picture, stats and price. I have requested an additional picture from the seller-- a closer up, head on so that I can see how well the diamonds are set into the band (if there are any odd gaps between the stones etc..) Please give me your honest opinions.

I think it is very pretty and a good buy. I''d certainly buy Tiffany rings second hand when they are in excellent condition if they are my size. Is this one your size?

I think its really pretty

I think it''s really pretty but in my totally uneducated opinion it seems kind of expensive...maybe make a low offer and see if they bite?

Are you sure it''s real? It doesn''t look real to me.

DS: Yes, luckily it is in my size

IMDANNY: What to you makes it look not authentic? I checked out the seller''s other items and they do sell quite a bit of 2nd hand T&CO.

thing2of2: What would you consider a fair offer?

Thanks guys!

That''s all. Just to be sure. Very good advice.

I''d rather not confuse you with my lay person''s opinions about what doesn''t look authentic especially since you''ve bought it!

Best wishes.

I personally don't worry too much about platinum pieces that have the Tiffany mark. It is the sterling pieces that you have to assume may be fake. That's why I'd only buy Tiffany sterling from Tiffany or maybe SP. But I wouldn't rush down to Tiffany's if I bought a platinum piece especially if I bought from a vendor like this one that specializes in estate pieces, has great feedback and a return policy.
