Tacori is remaking my rings!!!

Hi everyone!

I had my post on this story deleted because in case of pending problems I didnt want it floating around on the internet, but to update anyone who was following the story, Tacori is going to remake the rings in the size I need at no cost to me and they will be using a machine to do some of the work instead of handwork to ensure what I am looking for. In so many words, they want to do what they can to ensure my happiness. I will wait til I get them to say if they have redeemed themselves, but I am happy that this wont have to go to court.

It will probably take a few weeks of course but I am hoping that this will turn out well for me this time!

Today is turning out to be a good day...my bridal shop lost my dress but just called and said they found it, and now hopefully this ring situation will be resolved.

THANK YOU to everyone who gave their support and advice, and I will keep you updated on the process!

My ring is from Tacori, but we never ran into any problems. I just took it in for its 6 month check up and the jeweler wanted to know who set the ring because they had done an incredible job (it was Tacori). Just goes back to the whole we are human thing and we all make mistakes. I just cant get over the run-around, not our fault bit they tried to give you.

That is WONDERFUL, and really, the only acceptable thing for them to do, and I''m SO glad that they''re going to make it right and that you will still have the rings you love so much and worked so hard for!!!

But why did you have the other thread deleted? I think it's important to have good and bad listed re: companies and vendors...not just the good...because sometimes it takes some BAD to get to the GOOD?

I''m happy to hear that they are doing the "right" thing and standing behind their work! I find that so few companies these days seem to take responsibility for their shoddy products or work. It''s sad that we''ve turned into a society that refuses to take any blame or responsibilities for our actions! Blame in on someone else...or have a really good excuse why you did it and why you''re not liable!

I''m bitter about this kind of situation today! Can you tell?

I''m having a mold problem with the place we rent in CA...and having trouble with getting our tenants to pay the rent on the house we own in WA! Grrrr....

I agree....and I think that such posts also keep the vendors like Tacori on their toes and actually helps them decide to do the right thing.

That is so great! I was following your threads and was appalled by what has happened. I am so GLAD that Tacori is going the right thing. Their designs are beautiful. Thank goodness their getting the rest of their act together.

But I''m with Mara. Why delete? Your experience-- all of it, including the happy ending-- is something everyone who is considering Tacori should know about and be able to consider.

PNP I am so glad to hear everything worked out! I know how stressful those situations can be and I am glad Tacori finally came around and is handling it in a professional manner. Post pics when you get the new rings!

i do agree with the others, you should have left the old thread, it''s important info for potential buyers and Bill Pearlman had some excellent advice that others need to be aware of and consider.
 
Hi everyone!

Leonid said the same thing, I should leave it up for other consumers to see, but I was afraid that if my jeweler saw it he'd be less willing to help me (he knows Im a fan of this site). Just being paranoid after all this, but I guess Leonid can put it back up here (lol). I'll ask him to put it back up for the benefit of others.

I truly hope that it works out this time. I am so weary of it all! Time will tell if the rings will live up to the Tacori reputation, but they are starting to redeem themselves in my mind...

I''m glad everything worked out. It is only fair that they remake the rings and to have a good customer service department, I would expect no less from Tacori than to fully make amends for what was completely their mistake.

I hope these rings looks beautiful and that they get done ASAP!!!

Leonid has put the old thread back on. I hope maybe my story can help others no matter what designer we go through. It all comes down to customer service and not settling for less than what we pay for, and deserve. I''m so nervous about it, but I hope they come out fab this time! They have before, so I know it can be done.

PunchNPie, I am so pleased for you. Your situation should never have happened and the least Tacori can do is remake your set. I''m glad they have finally agreed to do so, but it should not have taken so long for them to relent. I''m still reluctant to consider Tacori products due to your experience and others. It will take a lot better customer service for me to consider such a company. Make sure you post your new rings when they arrive. Fingers crossed they turn out perfect.
