Take me off! I''m engaged!

Hey Ladies -- wanted to let you know that I am engaged! My best friend asked me to marry on Thursday night, on the deck that we built off of his house last summer. It was very sweet, we got some illegal (in my state, anyway!) fireworks over memorial day, and we were shooting them off of the back of the deck. After the last one, I turned to him and he had the ring box out! He asked me to marry him, and I of course said YES! It was very sweet.

It was wonderful! I don''t think I could have survived the last few months without you ladies -- even though I don''t post very much, I have kept logging on and read everyone''s stories. You guys gave me the patience to let my boy surprise me!

I also have to say that taking pictures of rings is SUPER HARD. But, I gave it my best try.

PS, I don''t know much about the diamond, I do know it''s a cushion cut, F color, SI1 or SI2, and it''s SPARKLY!!! The band is custom made and I love everything about it -- It''s so me.

I want all the LIWs to know that I am thinking about you guys too, and if I can give any advice at all, it would be this: enjoy the anticipation. It sounds crazy but looking back, the months of talking and waiting are now part of the story of our relationship.
