He proposed! 
I can't say that I didn't see it coming, because he took me to the restaurant where we had our first date. His birthday was on Tuesday so we made it his 'birthday' dinner. I knew he was going to do it tonight, I just didn't know how.
During dessert he says, "You didn't wish me a Happy Birthday."
I said, "Oh? I did on Tuesday??, well... Happy birthday!"
Then he looks sad and says, "I still haven't gotten what I wanted..."
*my brow furrows inquisitively*
"...a 'yes'."
He pulls out the ring from his breast pocket and before he can even get a chance to ask me "Will you marry me?" I say "YES!!" and jam my finger into the ring. lol
In a strange sence of symmetry, I thought this was funny: We had our first date 2 days after my birthday (for my birthday dinner), and he proposes 2 days after his. I thought that was sweet
