On Sunday, 3/19/17, I ran the Atlanta Publix Marathon. This is my first one. I was a total couch potato until 2015 when I hired a personal trainer to help me lose weight. I enjoyed fairly quick success with that and she suggested that I set some new goals so I wrote on a piece of paper that by 2018, I'd run a half-marathon. I'm writing this post in early 2017 with two half-marathons and one full marathon now under my belt.
When I finished my first half-marathon one year ago, I bought a 2.88ct tanzanite from Adam at Paraiba International. Now, having completed the race, I had Courtney Poole Pendergrast make this lovely bracelet for me. Of course, she also made the tanzanite necklace for me, as well. https://www.pricescope.com/blog/jewel-week-vintage-inspired-custom-tanzanite-necklace

It's 14kt palladium white gold, total diamond weight .98ct. There are 26 .03 round diamonds (F/VS) and 1 .20 carat diamond which is G/VS (set in the middle of the back). Get it? 26.2 diamonds for my 26.2 mile marathon victory?!
