Hi everyone!

Does anyone have any suggestions for cute thank you cards that aren''t super expensive? I was thinking about personalized thank you notes but I''m not sure how it works...I would have to get my name for thanks yous before the wedding and both of our names for after?

Thanks!

My thank you cards? A single card (no fold) from the Paper Source--I stamped them with "Merci", wrote a personal note, included some family photos the photographer took, and that was it. I''d made the STD''s and promised myself that would be the only do-it-yourself project I''d take on. It was a pain. But, for the thank you cards I wanted something personal, so I just did something simple that didn''t take too much time...or money.

oooh I found some cute note cards on Etsy! Thanks PS for introducing me to that site!

i bought a pack of half-fold note cards and envelopes from my local craft store. it was only $4.99 for 50.

then i fed it through my printer and printed "thank you" in a cursive font and had our motif as a background to match our invitations i designed.

pretty easy!!! and saves a LOT of money.

the perk of doing it yourself at home with your printer, is that you can do whatever you want. most custom-design stationary has limited colors, fonts and even how many letters you''re allowed.

hope this helps!

And thank you NewEngland Lady for your suggestions - I am similar to you....I DIY-ed the STDs and while they came out really cute, I spent WAY too much time and energy on them (and they ended up being pretty expensive too!). I vowed no more DIY! We''ll see how long that lasts....

I printed a wedding picture on a single 5x7 cards. Pretty cheap since I printed them at home (on a laser).

I would go the personalized, craft store paper/diy route...

My aunt made our invitations and programs for us as our wedding gift but didn''t do matching TY''s, so I ended up going to hallmark and buying a ton of boxed wedding-ish TY''s, which worked out fine but I could''ve done it myself for a much lower cost if I''d had the creativity and know-how at the time! (Not to mention the computer equipment...ah, back in the day...2003, lol!)

VistaPrint.com - they will custom print for you REALLY inexpensively (they are always having some kind of deal) and their personalization tool is very easy to use
