Thank You Note ??''s

Hey all, I''ve got 34 days left till the bid day and we are starting to get some wedding gifts.

I''ve looked through my etiquette book and my Emily Post wedding etiquette book and I''ve found nothing saying that it is ok to send Thank You notes before the wedding.

Anyone know? Is it appropriate to send a thank you before the wedding?

You should send a thank you note upon receipt of a gift, it has nothing to do with whether the wedding has ocurred yet.
