FF just got off the phone with Leon and after a tiny mix up where he told FF and has confirmed the ring is done and we can pick it up FRIDAY

I am so excited and I can''t wait to see it

Greetings from NY

It is currently 5:06am and I am really awake LOL but thought I would sneak on here and say hi.

We get to pick up the ring today sometime BUT I don''t get to see it, so no handshots. I really hope it is beautiful.

Haven''t had a chance to explore the city yet but OMG the pizza is SOOOOOO good .

I am so glad I took your advice Delster I tried on the ring today (not looking) while I did it and it didn''t fit GAH. My fingers (and ankles) are swollen beyond belief thanks to the flight so he is resizing it as we speak. I think he made it a 6 but I am a 6 1/4 but he is sizing it to a full 6.5 usually my finger is between a 5 3/8 and a 6 1/4 he wanted to make it a 7 but I knew it was an artificial swell so we are doing a 6.5.

According to FF it is beautiful, his assistant kind of spilled the details on the special something but that is okay but I will tell you ladies what that is later when he pops the question- it is good though .

I got to meet Leon today and he is sweetie, a real doll very polite and so helpful he is rushing the sizing so it is all done on time we have decided to get him to make our wedding bands when the time comes for the both of us.

mini update the resizing was completed I tried it on with my eyes tightly shut and it fits and all is well. According to FF it looks beautiful on my hand and you can''t tell that it was done, as for the ring it is currently sealed up in the safe.

Just quietly I am dying to see it, but I will not snoop - I will behave.

That''s wonderful Deelight. It you need any rec''s for restaurants in New York low to high end we are just back from there.
Also PLEASE PLEASE be careful with the ring. Our birthday gift to our daughter was stolen from our luggage probably when we had checked out of our hotel and the luggage was being stored. They took it out of the box and left the box re wrapped it so we didn''t realise till we got home

I leave NY today no idea when or where I will next get the net, I can say without a doubt it won''t be happening in NY - that''s okay loads more countries yet to see; tomorrow London .

We have had such a good time here, unfortunately we didn''t get to do everything we wanted but we did a fair bit went on a massive shopping spree (such cute new outfits) and am now set for the rest of the tour.

We didn''t get to see Central Park which is a shame it is pouring outside so really the weather is not being conducive to a nice long walk oh well next time. Did get to see a Broadway show though quite fun .


NYCsparkle yup sure didn''t I respect him to much to peak , let him have his moment it will be all mine soon enough - tempted though :p.
