My engagement ring is a 1.14ct unheated ruby with F VS diamond halo and sidestones. The index finger is sporting a 1.17ct green Brazilian paraiba tourmaline with an inner graduated halo of blue Brazilian paraiba tourmaline and an outer non-graduated halo of F VS diamonds.

My unheated 5.10 Santa Maria Aqua.

The 18 month wait was soooooo worth it

Wow! That is absolutely gorgeous. I love the color and the size of the halo. So elegant!

I have not learnt the art of taking lovely ring photos yet but I'd love to share my engagement ring! Thanks everyone for sharing theirs x

Gorgeous diamond! Congrats! Is there a thread about the stone? Love your background!

A HUGE THANK YOU to Wink and Layla from High Performance Diamonds for the perfect stone and Mark Morrell for the most gorgeous setting! I got engaged last month to my dream guy with my dream ring: a 2.23 E VS2 Crafted by Infinity (CBI) in a customized Mark Morrell extreme Petite Torchiere setting.

I've been a longtime PS lurker and have been long wishing for a super ideal round brilliant and to work with Mark Morrell. I got my wish!

First of all, Layla at HPD is amazing. I contacted several of the well-regarded vendors for super ideal round diamonds. The service (emails and calls) with Brittney at Whiteflash was great, but honestly Layla was the most responsive and proactive. Not only did she email me back right away, but she was the only one who was able to jump through hoops with insurance and shipping logistics and coordinated an in-person viewing of several stones for me in the SF Bay Area (where she is located) within just a few days. I did not have to purchase stones in advance which just made it the process much easier.

She was extremely informative and showed my fiancé and me 4 diamonds all of different colors and clarities and carat weight. It's truly amazing that CBI diamonds are cut so consistently and that even the low-color diamond in the mix appeared very white. All the diamonds sparkled and were fiery like nothing I had ever seen before. I was so impressed that there really wasn't a huge difference in appearance among the stones. Still, I am very sensitive to color and was able to pick out the colorless "E" diamond in the mix and decided I would love to have a colorless diamond. My fiancé and I were looking at diamonds in the 2-2.25 ct range. HPD had two G color 2 ct stones available and a 2.1 F VS2. Layla also let us know that a CBI was in the process of being cut and polished in Belgium: it was estimated to be a 2.21 E SI1. Though I had hoped for a VS clarity stone, I was so impressed with CBI diamonds that I decided I'd be perfectly fine with a CBI with SI1 clarity. I decided I didn't need to see the final stone and would let my fiancé choose.

After our viewing appointment my now fiancé worked directly with Layla/Wink to decide on a CBI stone. He ended up selecting the 2.21 E Si1 which was technically a custom order as the diamond was still in production in Belgium. The wonderful surprise is that the stone ended up finishing as a 2.23 E VS2! A little bigger and a big jump on clarity but a the price of a 2.21 E Si1! I got my E VS after all. Note that if you custom order a CBI and it comes out upgraded to a bigger size or with better color or clarity, your pricing does not change. So I got an 2.23 E VS2 stone at a 2.21 E Si1 price.

And Mark Morrell is a dream to work with. He is a gentleman and artisan who truly cares about his craft. His perfectionism means my fiancé and I didn't have to worry about the end result. I knew that any variation of his 4 prong Petite Torchiere would be amazing!

I can't endorse these vendors enough. I'm so so happy!

The eternity is gorgeous! Favorite stack is the one with the metal band (blue?). It contrasts nicely with the diamonds. Congratulations!

Thank you. And, the ‘blue’ stack is my current favourite way to wear the rings.

And this is the whole set; I'm calling it Valhalla, because to me, in the world of rings, this is paradise. This is my new anni band to go with my 3 stone, and a new wedding ring to line up with the other two.

These rings could not be more perfect for me - so I'm officially signing off on this project. This is it for me. I'm out. Wedding set complete.

@mrs-b , could I ask where you got your diamond band from? I am looking for my 20th anniversary present! :)

I have glam shots!!! The ring is in the mail!!! (to arrive on Monday)

I think the diamond looks spectacular - not sure if I would be able to take pictures like that.

So this is the custom cut ACA, 1.716, D, VVS2 ... my wait is almost over. I hope it’s ok that I have taken comfort in seeing other people be impatient as well, lol.

hi @kmoro , could I ask what ring mounting this is? I love the floral effect!

Hi @eesmom -

The ring was made by David Klass Jewelry and is 18kt yellow gold with a band of 9 x 11pt diamonds, for a ctw of 1ct. It's an unbelievably comfortable ring, the design of which I copied from @stonewell! If you decide this is how you'd like to proceed, and if you decide to go with DKJ, tell them you want the same design as Stonewell's and Mrs-B's anniversary ring; I believe they still have the CADs.

Hello everyone,

Here to post my E-Ring! My Fiance was obviously paying attention to my ramblings about Pricescope and BGD 2 years ago when we were long distance. In fact, he told me he had BGD bookmarked on his computer this whole time.

We were in the Maldives so he traveled with it quite far! He set up a go pro and told me we were doing a sunrise time lapse when a 'bottle' washed up on shore. :kiss2:

Thanks to the people at Brian Gavin for working so closely with him and getting it to him in time!

Diana Setting 18k Rose Gold. Size 5.5 I believe

Side Stones- AGS000 .210 and .218 G, SI1
Center Stone- AGS000 .598 G VS2

I just love how the side stones are suspended, the fluid lines, and the high cut quality. My only 'thing' with it is, I feel like 3.2mm is too thick and I prefer dainty rings. If and when I send it in for resizing (its a lot loose when cold, however tight when hot....) they said they'll file it down for me.

Glamour Shots!
