Thanks so much, @Gemstonesrock, @bling_dream19, @lambskin and @RMOO! I love these new pieces!
But, y'know, sometimes a girl just needs to 'round it out'....
My new gypsy ring - with a .9ct E VS2 AVR and 2 AVR sides - 9 points, one D SI2 and one E SI1; FINALLY the dimensions, proportions and quality that I've wanted all along.

Thank you, @Cerulean, @junebug17, @musicalmeow and @lala646! I feel as tho I need to apologize for posting so many pieces at the moment, but I'm making a major push, so they're coming thick and fast!
@lala646 - the previous iteration was hollow at the back, for a start. But this is model #4! I started with a .34ct center and 6 point sides, then went up to a....maybe .6ct center? Maybe .68? I can't recall exactly, I'm sorry. Same 6 point sides, tho. From there, I went to a .75ct OEC with the 2 x 9 point sides (which I liked a lot, but always wanted to take to the next level), and then to this one - which is the perfect size center for this style of ring, in my opinion, and the same 9 point AVR sides. This center is .25mm wider in diameter and is a VS2 rather than an SI2, and an E color, instead of an F. I do love my antique OECs, but I've wanted this specific AVR since Jon put it on his site years ago, and finally accepted that I'd be heart broken if someone other than me bought the diamond I'd 'visited' at least once a week for so very long. Frankly, I don't know what took me so long! So I snapped it up and here we are. It's just a shade under 6mm, which is a nice size for any diamond, and in this sort of setting - substantial. Overly large stones in gypsy settings can look very clunky to my eye, so this is the perfect size for me. I also don't have very long fingers, so this is about as far as I want to go with a ring which is part solitaire, part three stone, and part band-ring style. I'm also hoping to get a narrow diamond band made to fit with it exactly, so we'll see how that goes. I suspect I'll wear this a lot. I've always loved my gypsy rings - I've just been looking for the perfect proportions.
