He actually looks like a combination of two of my friends'' husbands. Both military. Weeeeeeeird.

for some reason they all seem to have the same general haircuts.

he does have an older brother who was a Mainre

It''s his face and his colouring.

Also, he has the same colouring as my BF.

well that''s what i like to call him. i don''t remember what his last name originally was (he took his mom''s post divorce) but i know his dad''s side was english, his mom''s is irish in name and there''s german and welsh in the mix too.

Besides, it''s really all in the cheekbones. Can''t you tell?") But then, he also convinced his friend''s little brother growing up that he was adopted from Russia. Poor kid believed it for a year or two, I think

lol, i''ll have to tell M that, he has some especially gullible friends... in fact i got a whole table of them to believe that girls are issued prescription bras when they go to boot camp. i later got one to believe the magical bald spot covering junk you shake on your head is mold that matches your hair color and grows on your scalp. most of M''s friends joke that they got him from a POW camp and he''s really a long-lost nazi, but they rehabbed him and he turned out to be a nice enough guy so they kept him around

yes definitely all in the cheek bones, but there''s also the eyebrow ridge that just gives it away

unfortunately it''s going to be a few haloweens before i can convince him to cross-dress again, but he was the hit of the party. i told him you said he looks hot and he said thanks

it is (and i NEVER say this) bloody hot in our office today (job #2, that is. actually, both are). Our heater is busted, so its pumping out heat nonstop. did i mention is almost 80 degrees outside??

Hah, sorry I was lurking and didn''t realized you were talking to me! Things went well. My new job consists of handling million dollar budgets for 3 departments at my university. I just got my new computer for one of the departments today and it''s AWESOME, large 30" widescreen iMAC

I love it.
Other than that, I had a bad food day. Had a bagel with butter for breakfast, chick-fil-a for lunch, spaghetti for dinner, and a 1/4 tub of chocolate chip cookie dough for dessert

I know! sunnyd popped out while I was away, I hope everything is okay. I saw elle or someone else commented about deia, but I didn''t realize there was anything wrong since I''d read the thread while she was just worrying about ruining the surprise, I went back and read it and

Oh! And you guys were talking about car stories earlier...my funniest car story:

It was my first night drive with my learner''s permit, my mother in the passenger seat. I''m from a really small country town where we lived back in the woods without street lights. I pull out of our driveway and down to the main road, brake, look both ways, and then looked right at my Mom and said, "How do I know if anyone is coming, I can''t see anything because it''s dark." Yes, there is such a thing as stupid question.

I see your half a tub of cookie dough and raise you 3 bowls of ice cream and a beer.

Hmmm...I think I''m PMSing. If not, that was one hell of a crazy craving.

Hey everyone, I''m back with an update. Everyone is probably in bed at this point though! So his heart attack wasn''t minor, it was pretty frickin major. BUT, he''s fine now, so that''s the most important thing.

Random occurrances that may have saved his ife. Instead of going to work super early like usual, he decided to sleep in a bit. FI''s sister is home from school, so when he woke her up saying he was having chest pains, she was able to take him to the ER immediately. He had an artery that was completely blocked and had to get defribulated (?) 3 times. Poor girl had to watch her dad like that.

He was transferred to a larger hospital downtown later that morning, and that''s when we all met up.

Later in the day, the ER doc from the first hospital dropped by with a printout of his ECG that the whole team had signed, which was sweet. Apparently he had 3 huge spikes that they call ''tombstones'' because not many people make it through.

He''s doing okay now though, he''ll be home in a few days. He''s sad to have to miss golf on Sunday with FI and my dad, hahaha. His dad (FI''s grandpa) died from a heart attack in his 50s along with 8 or 9 of his brothers, his brother had a heart attack when he was 44. It runs in the family...

I think it was a wakeup call to FI, who tends to not eat the best foods, used to smoke and can drink many under the table. I really hope he takes better care of himself, because his dad was a healthy man.

Sunnyd - Thank goodness for that! how random that Fi's sister was home, and completely amazing at the same time! i am SO GLAD everything turned out okay. now tell Fi's dad to take care of the heart!! And Same for FI, i hope he does take this a bit more seriously!.

We watched part of the hockey game, then his parents left around 10.
