The little things

Dixie''s comment in So_Happy''s thread made me wonder what are some of the little things left for everyone to do. When the major things have been booked -- florist, DJ or band, ceremony and reception places, photographer -- what else is left? I know there''s a lot, so I thought having one place to add on to this might be helpful. Here''s what I thought of so far:

Block off rooms at hotels for OOT guests.

Welcome bags for OOT guests and favors

Hair and makeup trials

Gifts for the bridal party

Gifts for parents (?)

Gift for future hubby (or wife, for those guys out there) (?)

Have your invites designed and printed

Pick out wedding bands.

Go over/write your vows

Start writing thank you notes (if you have already gotten gifts and don''t plan on using a wedding present) & shower thank yous.

Book/plan honeymoon

Videographer?

Any rentals (chair covers, chairs, tables...)

Bakery for cake

Here''s my list (although you''ve covered some of them) of what''s left to do:

-Finalize ceremony w/officiant
-Finalize cake design (can''t seem to make a decision!)
-Finalize w/location: cake, napkin color, napkin design, music setup, will they help w/setting up centerpieces, do they have highchairs, do they provide fans for outdoor ceremony, do they provide a microphone (if needed)
-If location doesn''t provide fans, buy paper fans for guests
-Dress + veil to tailor
-Decide on ring pillow or box for ring bearer and buy it
-Gifts for flower girl, ring bearer, bm''s, gm, parents and FI
-Buy and prepare BM and OOT boxes
-Buy bra
-Buy my son''s suit
-Buy ribbon for favor bags
-Discuss specifics w/photographer
-Buy thank you cards and cards to attach to the favors
-Buy guestbook
-Decide on ceremony details (who walks down when and w/who)
-Finalize w/florist
-Decide if we''re booking a hotel room for the night of, if so-book it
-Make list of what I need to bring on wedding day
-Make up trial
-Make favors
