Yeah, the first thing I did was call my mom and say "We need X money, OK?" and she said cool.. and then we were free to plan!

What are your plans looking like right now?

We''re going to go look at a few venues in the city next weekend to get an idea. Right now, I think November will be the month, maybe early December. We''re going to do a Latin theme (since we may not do PR), so we are on the hunt for a hot salsa band that can do crossover--if they are strictly Latin music, they have to be able to dj an iPod playlist--Really, with my FI handling this, they have to be off the hook! So, yea, we can''t do much until we know where and WHEN it''s going to be...but we have time.

Honestly, I''m just tired of not knowing where to start, so I need to get on the ball. Plus I''m getting tired of telling people ''Uhhhhhh...wellllll, we''re not sure yet...'' when they ask me how the wedding plans are going...which is something they ask every single time I see them.

Well I''m glad you''ve gotten the ball rolling! I''m totally crashing your wedding, btw.

I think getting going is probably the hardest part of wedding planning. We already had so much planned that it was easy, we just had to make a few calls.

And yeah, people are annoying. Gosh, B! Don''t you know that your own wedding is in fact, not about you? Your needs/desires/wishes/timelines are irrelevant to the needs/desires/wishes/timelines of others. So for the good of the general public, PLEASE get this shiz planned, lady!

That must be very hard. Even with a budget when it all adds up and looking back at the receipts and bills....I''m not one to spend a ton of money

I don''t know, but it''s making me crazy!! I just got them last week, but they were terrible, so yesterday I got 1 for astigmatism (just in 1 eye), which helped, but I think I''m going blind. Hahaha.

Ooooh photogs, I think I might have a list somewhere of all the ones I looked at and liked. There were so many!! Definitely the most time consuming.

cK- yeah... i dont know. it would be nice to have a clean apartment, and i only work 2-6 this week. I''ve been up since 6 and the only thing i have done is put in a load of laundry.
