I love black, but I feel like I should probably wear less of it. So I challenged myself to not buy any new black clothes, and I kind of like the result.

Elle, I found a picture of a polka dot dress in photos, but it''s from my friend''s wedding pictures and I don''t feel comfortable posting the whole picture since it''s of her new SIL. I''ll try to crop it down to show you when I get home tonight.

So one of the guys at work is kind of a goofball and he and I joke around. I had pictures of my cats in my little cubby at work (hard to explain, but it''s part of the filing cabinet). Anyways, he took them last week and has been joking with me about how ''innocent'' he is. Yeah right. So today I got back from lunch to find this:

''Princesss,
If you ever want to see your precious kitties again, you will deposit 1 loaf of cornbread and 1 bag of coconut M&Ms and 1 bag Twizzlers (and it had better be the red kind) in the conference room by the close of business tomorrow. Any attempts to identify the peson or persons responsible will result in the kitties becoming kittie kindling.
Sincerely,
The free kitties project''

So I wrote a note and put it up for everybody who passes by to see. What does it say?

''I will NOT negotiate with terrorists.''

Let''s see what happens tomorrow....
Awesome! That would be very helpful!

Funny! ...as long as no kittehs are harmed in the making of this drama!

what''s up ladies? It''s 3:15 and I don''t want to work anymore.

So, instead of droping $250 on a Wii and being a loser and staying home all the time, I''m going to spend $150 on a season pass to the National Whitewater Center so I can go hike and climb and zip line and kayak all I want. I''m super stoked.

I was supposed to watch my friend play rugby but I''m broke and have tournaments coming up, so I think I''m going to have to bail on that. But it means I can get my pass and start going this weekend! Check it out: Whitewater, here I come!

Hey, HH!
35.gif
I''m in the same boat. Can''t wait til 5...

Princesss...that sounds awesome! Good investment!

I''m so excited about it. AND a bunch of the women on my Ultimate team are members, and we were talking about all going climbing together or something. I''ve hit a point where I''m sick of doing nothing. I want to get out and have FUN.

oh and btw, ff is a big rugby fan. played and coached for over 17 yrs.

Princess I love my Wii, but the WW membership sounds AWESOME!!! I really want to go rafting this summer. LOL, wouldn''t it be fun to plan a PS GTG/white water rafting trip?

Um, yes!

i agree!!

Hey there gals! Happy almost-over Monday! I've been rather busy today working on a project that needs done- printed- and in the office by July 15
32.gif
So I'm working my butt off trying to get it finished because I'm off Thursday (FF and mine anniversary
31.gif
of the day we met) and Friday. Then next Friday (my birthday!!!)

Hope your all doing well.

I watched Bride Wars with FF over the weekend. It wasn't THAT great but it was ok. He actually got a couple of giggles out of it too

Wow I just noticed this thread was back.. yay!!

I hope you girls have a great week! I''m excited because I don''t have to work again until Saturday (which kind of sucks since it''s the 4th..).. but at the same time I have two days of clinicals plus a lot of studying in between! I guess it''s all better than work though, right?
21.gif

I''m watching my friend''s anti-social dog this week.. My dogs are super hyper and outgoing so it''s funny to watch them.. They have all met at her house so many times but now they are just sitting here staring at the poor pup. He pees when he gets nervous/excited so I''m trying to avoid any stressful situations for him.. Wow.. I''m really saying this about a dog.. lol.

good luck DG!

you know SH if you type much more about those puppies you''ve got running around (or paralyzed in fear) you just might have to show some pictures of them

and rafting sounds fun! wish i had an excuse to go to NC this summer, i do love the rocking chairs at the charlotte airport.

so i''m wearing one of those cutlet bra thingies for the first time. it''s odd. but i''m pretty sure i love it, although i''ll have to remember not to poke my chest in public

I wish I could post pics but someone dropped my camera and it popped open
29.gif
so I have to wait until I buy a new one..

I''ve never tried one of those bras..They seem uncomfy to me! Although I could definitely use the boost!!

DG-good luck with the project... and hooray for your upcoming birthday and anniversary!! Bdays are the best

sparkly- Enjoy your time off! I''m certainly looking forward to mine!

Squirrly- Thanks! I''m going to need it. lol

.....
Why are you having to remeber not to poke your chest in public? I feel so lost
33.gif

it''s not uncomfortable in that it hurts or itches (then again i haven''t peeled it off yet) but it is odd not having straps.

as for why i''d poke: it''s an adhesive bra made of two silicone cups (they look like chicken cutlets in bra cup shape) that you stick on and then clip together in the middle so there''s no straps anywhere. and since they''re silicone, they''re squishy. and also more noticable than i''m used to them being, not awkwardly so (i''m not looking anything like pamela anderson) but they''re well squishy. so i poke. hmm so this is what having a chest is like
37.gif

i think i''m going to put a bra on over it before i go out though, it''s just weird not having straps anywhere.

lol I''m sorry but reading all that just now cracked me up!!!
rotflmao2.gif

That sounds rather interesting. Something I''ve never done before. This might be TMI but you''ve already shared so much already....so do they still dance around as if you didn''t have a bra on then I''m guessing?

lol that''s one of the weird things, the whole dancing around bit isn''t a problem i normally have, but with the added weight of these things it is, and i''m really not sure how to deal with it. hehe guys should have to wear these and heels for a day just to see what it''s like.

oooh jumping is awkward.

and trust me i''m cracking up over this whole thing. my friends have been talking about these things for almost a year now. the things they come up with. i do feel for those who have issues with jumping/dancing and stuff due to their chests now, such an odd feeling.

LIW-vent:

A friend of ours from out of town was in the area, and we hung out for a bit to catch up with her. It was great to see her, but she TOTALLY put us on the spot with the "So when are you getting married, already?" question.

Can I just mention how much I hate it when people ask that?

Ditto that vent!

I also hate when people say "so how serious are you and mr. sh?" I mean really. we''re not that serious, we''re quite silly! And I''ve been with him for over a year just for fun?

Although I have to say, I''ve been guilty of asking those questions in the past..
38.gif
I think it''s just different now because everyone who is asking is married. At my work, you are definitely "out" until the day you become engaged and then suddenly you''re cool enough to be one of the "in" crowd. Luckily I am really good friends with all of the "outties" and we''ve stuck together through engagements and marriages!
36.gif

Hmmmmm, okay those things sound like they wouldnt fit my chest.....i think i have way too much to fit in that....i would need like 3 put together
