Morning small talkers! This week has been crazy with my mom & FI''s mom both in town visiting. On the plus side, I GOT A WEDDING DRESS! And my bridesmaid dresses came in! So yay!

I feel very productive with wedding stuff right now.

Just a random assortment of things/people. For example: babies. I do not want them there. Who brings a 3 week old baby to such a thing??? Maybe I am just a B**** but still. Was your babies name on the invite? Did you ask me if you could bring it? No, you told me. Bleah.

Yeah, I don''t like that people assume that. I understand a nursing mother has needs, and so does a baby, but if you don''t want them there... well.. they either need to find other accomodations or not come.

Yeah, I understand that too, but our event is not very baby-friendly and there will be 4 or 5...out of a guest list of 70! Just a little OOC IMO. To be honest, it would be totally different if we had been asked, instead of informed. On all counts.

OK, weird question.

Does anyone get really paranoid when they post something and no one comments? I posted a picture of my wedding dress like all of 5 minutes ago and I''m already getting paranoid that no one has said anything. I know it''s a terrible picture, but now I''m afraid that no one likes my dress. (Well, no one that didn''t see it in person that is)

OK, yes I''m feeling very pathetic right now. LOL.

It was awesome--we went somewhere else after finding that dress and nothing even compared, too big and all. It''s awesome because it''s also totally unique. The designer only made 4 of those dresses and the fabric will never be made again. And for being totally awesome, locally made, fair trade fabric, etc. it was really reasonable. I paid under $1200 for it.

Thanks guys--I'm really excited. PLUS, I'm jazzed that the bridesmaid dresses look good on everyone so far. AND! I got them on sale in the color I wanted for $70 a piece! Woo!

They look a lot brighter in this picture than they are in real life--they are more peachy than they look here. Very much the color of cantaloupe.

Thank you so much, Sunny! My wedding dress is by a designer named Lena Medoyeff here in Portland. I love her stuff.

The BM dresses are the short Sophia dress from J. Crew in Sweet Cantaloupe. I just LOVE the color and it''s really flattering on everyone. Plus, yay for on sale!

Miscka, I''m sorry people suck. I know nursing moms need to be around their babies, and 3 week olds can''t really be left alone, but you don''t *inform* your host that they''re coming. You *ask* if it''s okay, and if not, you accept that you probably can''t go. Yes, it sucks, but oh well.

LP, I''m going to go check out the dress now! Gorgeous BM dresses, btw. I love that colour!

I need hairstyle suggestions. Friend''s wedding is tomorrow. I''m wearing the dress LP just posted, but in green instead of orange. My hair is just about shoulder length, and can either go super straight or hold curl. Have no idea if an updo is best or if I should just leave it down. Thoughts?

Ckrickett, I am obsessed with LOST. No joke. All day I wander around thinking "what''s in the hatch? What''s with the numbers? What did Kate do to make her Mom hate her??" LOL. Pathetic. We are down to the 3-part "Exodus" at the end of Season 1.

Left to do today: mail BM dresses to MOH to try on so that she can get the size she needs.

Funny story, FI found one of his cousins on facebook today! He hasn''t seen him since they were little kids and the families haven''t been in touch for about 10 years, so it''s kind of cool that they are back in touch!

Seriously! His cousins are VERY New Jersey Italian, which is funny because K is not like that at all! I''m looking forward to inviting them to the wedding.
