See, I am programmed to cook for 10+. Feeding people is my mission in life, and it''s hard enough to pare down to just two.

He comes back on Thursday. I think his absence = an excuse to make foods that I know he doesn''t enjoy, that I can consume in large portions. Steamed mussels may have to happen tonight!

Can I come over for dinner?

Which reminds me, I''m going to be in your state this weekend (along the lake). And possibly later this fall for a game at The Big House, although that''s a maybe.

Today''s my day off and I haven''t really done anything. At least I fixed myself a tasty lunch a little while ago after I showered. I''m going to go buy BF something little that I know he needs and run a couple errands finally. Wish me luck being productive, since apparently I need it!

LOL that''s what I do too!! Last year when FI was in MN, I had a whole bag of salsa salad (The Fresh Express Ensalada stuff) over the course of 4 hours. Mmmm salsa salad...

I''m so stressed over this wedding that I can''t talk about it anymore. LOL

We are in the super annoying part of wedding planning where there are 8 million little details and NONE of them are fun. I couldn''t hate being a bride anymore than I do.

I am, however, super excited to get married.

Wow! I could imagine being stressed myself with such a short amount of time to plan. Lucky for me....I have a **cough..cough** wedding planning collection on my jump drive **cough..cough**

We will see how that goes though after the actual planning comes along. I''m sure it''s a lot more than just finding some photos of things I like. Good thing your wedding is just around the corner. I''m sure it will all pull together nicely.

As for me, not a whole lot. Well S had a job interview over the phone this morning for a job. He says it went well. Was supposed to last 20 min. but was 45 min. long. However, it isn''t his dream career job, but if he got it, it would give him some experience he could apply toward his dream job.

His birthday is coming up on Sept. 15 and my 1 year anniversary at my job is Sept. 18. Just goes to show how quickly a year can go by and who knows what life will be like a year from now!

My cousin just got engaged so I''ve been helping my aunt find wedding gowns and bridesmaids dresses online when I have a free moment or two. I love wedding planning! I''m sure I''d be more stressed however if it were my own wedding...

Day is crappy. FI''s plane was delayed an hour and a half! Dangit! I miss him!

But now mexican food sounds *really* good!

Sucks about the delays! B''s flight yesterday got canceled, and he was stuck at the airport for 7 hours until another one left. Laaaaaaaame.

Dear God. So after hearing so much about the 30 day shred from you ladies I just tried it.

The cardio and ab stuff wasn''t so bad, but the strength stuff kicked my behind. After the first round of pushups I was like "I can do this" and then she said "OK, now we''re going to do another 30 seconds of pushups followed by another 30 seconds of squats/presses." I was calling her satan by the end.

LOL--I think I need to get FI to do this with me so at least I''m not the only one sweating my behind off.

Yeah, I hear you on the ab stuff. I think what I may do is alternate the 30 day shred with pilates or an ab workout. That way I''m actually getting a decent workout for my tummy.

Hmm... what to do if they offer me a position?

ETA: She said 3 weeks for e-pics. Three weeks would be this Friday. I hope we get them today or tomorrow. I leave for Vegas on Friday!

ETAA: My hair was frizzy today. I wonder if that'll cost me the job.

Here''s the thing about the job: It''s not what I want to do. I WOULD do it if it offered more money, and I''d probably like it better than what I''m doing now. The company is really laid back ( I currently work at a stuffy law firm) so I''d like that a lot more. I could wear jeans to work!

However... I think I''d still continue to look for jobs while I was there. Or if they offer tuition reimbursement of any kind, maybe get some school in.

I am trying to decide how much they''d need to offer to make it worth my while. I think I COULD get 2000 more a year than I make now, but I''d really like 3. I''m not sure if 3 would happen.

Vegas from Friday morning to Monday afternoon. Rock.

Booooo! You make yours with sour mix? What''s your recipe? Ours is approximately 2 shots fresh lime juice, 1.5 shots tequila, .5 shots cointreau/patron citronage. Then we shake it and put a drizzle of grand marnier on top. Nom nom nom.
