Anyone seen Cold Mountain? FF and I watched it last night (and Monday night) gosh what a long movie, eh?

It was actually quite a downer. It made me so sad. Now I want to watch a comedy. Some sort of a pick-me-up good movie.

I loved that movie! Heartbreaking, but wonderful!

I really want to feel better by tomorrow. I''m supposed to go watch a football game at my friend''s house, but I don''t want to go if I''m going to get her and her daughter sick. So please keep your fingers crossed that I feel better tomorrow!

It was actually quite a downer. It made me so sad. Now I want to watch a comedy. Some sort of a pick-me-up good movie.

Dreamgirl: Cold Mountain sure is a really long, sad movie, but have you read the book? Charles Frazier is one of my favorite authors and his writing is wonderful. I enjoyed the book (even though it's just as depressing!) so much more than the movie. His writing is really amazing.

i ated him. all the cake (even of the poop variety) made me so hungry long ago that one day while lurking at work i couldn''t help it. although i''m pretty sure he wasn''t lo cal so my diet was completely wrecked. i sowwy. he tasted corny though

So, today, I feel like a secondary character in a romantic comedy -- you know, the best friend who sets up the main characters. My old roommate is now dating an ex of mine, and I am thrilled about this, and convinced that they are a better match than he and I ever were (and it took them two years to even think about dating, because she was worried I''d find it awkward -- so not the case!). Totally jumping the gun because they just got together recently, but if they end up together long-term, I will be super happy about this.

not really, though now i might know where most of my things are (as in stuffed in my closet). car and room are clean(ish) or at least to the unknowing eye are clean. last minute packing/prep time!

They are: stupid people, leaving my friend's house (I'm going over after work to watch the South Carolina game with her and her baby - her DH is going to the game, but she didn't want to leave the kidlet, so we're watching it together), coming back from lunch, and getting out of bed.
