You know what really bugs me? When my Dr. office called and asked for me, not as ''Liz'' or ''Elizabeth'' but by my last name.

If they call me by his last name, then they have a serious serious problem.

LOL. If they call you by his last name, that is serious commitment to pissing you off.

It is. Last time I corrected the girl, but apparently she forgot. And it was definitely the same chick.

I was at the pharmacy not that long ago and FI was with me. The girl who took my prescription and the girl who checked me out BOTH called me by my last name. Less than 5 minutes apart. FI had never witnessed it before, and he was shocked. Lol.

OH ya I hear you loud and clear sister! I think some people are still honestly confused about my actual first name. WTF?

Me too. Ugh. My doctor (general practitioner) has done it before, and not only has be been my doctor for YEARS, but he also sees my dad, my aunt and my uncle. And he saw my mom as well.

HE NEVER CALLED THEM BY OUR LAST NAME!

the bigger the processing speed, the better. i love to run multiple programs at once (um, hello ADD!) such as photoshop, Zune, Internet. oh and of corse dorky platformer games.
this will be replacing my desktop comupter. i have looked at a HP Pavillion II (?) that i have liked regarding stats.

Pavilions are good; that''s what B has. I''d also recco taking a look at Lenovo (ThinkPad) -- they''re my favorite brand, and they''ve got a couple of laptops under $700 that will probably meet your specs. I''ve been in love with their computers since college; they''re very durable, come with a sweet built-in recovery system, and have better customer support than any other brand I''ve used.

DH has a Lenovo, I have a pavillion. His should be the "better" computer, but he''s had a lot of issues with his particular one. He said he''d likely not get another Lenovo, but they are *supposed* to be good comptuers.

I love my Pavillion. Never had a problem. Now that its running Windows 7, its even faster.
