Maybe it's like a 'next step' thing. You did the engagement thing, then the getting married thing...now it's sort of back to normal. Maybe you're anticipating the next big thing in your life
Babies are awesome. I love them. I definitely want one or two. But there are so many things I want to do first (a house and a better job being the most important) which is why I don't think I'll be in a hurry until those things are squared away.

Although, FI is already on board and I know if I were to get accidentally pregnant, he'd be thrilled.

eta: keep thinking about the lack of sleep! that might nip this whole thing in the bud.

Yeah thats what I''m thinking. We need to buy a house first, but theoretically that will be next summer/fall.

And I''d like a better job, but lets be realistic - I live in Michigan. There are no jobs. DH is the one who makes the good money, so we have to go where his job is. So I''m stuck.

DH would not be thrilled if we had an accident. He''d be neutral, but would grow to be happy. He still wants our "One big trip" before we have a baby. I want it too.
