Have you guys heard of the Blood Type diet? My dad has the book and I was looking at it over the weekend. It''s pretty interesting. The premise is that every blood type (ancestral heritage) has different dietary needs due to evolving in different areas of the world with different constraints. So some people digest and absorbs nutrients from certain things better than others. We''re naturally inclined to eat things that follow this and dislike things that are not traditionally in our ancestral diet. So for example I''m a B type so I should be eating lean red meat, fish and dairy, and stay away from chicken and wheat. Coincidentally or not I love dairy and I''m intolerant to wheat and gluten. DH noticed some of the same connections with his type. So the diet doesn''t push a certain number of calories or lifestyle, it just shows you the food types that align with your blood type and those that you should stay away from. My dad has lost 20 lbs following it. I''m thinking about buying the book for DH and I....

Nothing is planned - he''s not a planner. He wants to go upstate somewhere or maybe PA/rural NJ. Which would be awesome but we''ve been talking about wanting to paint for awhile and we won''t have another week like this until Feb (which is the week we are going to PR BABY!!!) so I''m thinking maybe we should do it now. No, not wrong at all. I love shopping and I love painting. We just finished painting our entire house.

New Hope PA is really cool, it''s a little artist community on the Delaware river. It''s actually where George Washington crossed the Delaware during the revolution!

FI was thinking of doing something there next week. Around the New Hope/Lambertville area is a gorgeous B&B called Woolverton Inn. We stayed a couple of times and I''d love to go back but they charge something like $350/night. That''s pricey and between the holidays right around the corner and new furniture, I think it''s over the top. Plus, with $600 I can buy a new coffee table! see how my mind works?

No, not wrong at all. I love shopping and I love painting. We just finished painting our entire house.
I don''t mind painting. Kind of like it actually. But I am no good at getting a clean line where the walls and ceiling meet. WooHoo for crown molding.
