WTH is the point anyway? All it does is leave me thinking "I can''t quit" "I can''t quit" "Someday I''m gonna quit... not today"
(there are the 2 guys I work for and me in the office. That is it. Just the 3 of us)

The usual conversation:

boss1: Gotta go. I''m running late for something.
me: See you tomorrow.
boss2: You are great. We really appreciate you. Your work is wonderful. The audit went amazing....
me: Thank you.
boss2: To show our appreciation, we are going to give you a raise.
me: Thank you.
boss2: Are you ready? We are BOTH going to give you an extra $20 per month. That is $40 per month.
me: (trying to stay smiling)
boss2: What do you think of that?
me: That is nice. Thank you. (still smiling)


Can''t we just skip the conversation and they can keep their stinking $20?

Anyone want to trade jobs? Please?

I want to change my status but can''t officially yet! I think SO is a little stressed out about saving for the ring! He''s mentioned it a few times in the last week which tells me that it really is on his mind a lot!
I feel bad because I have a great job (money-wise) and he just started his own business so is hustling and at the same time trying to figure out ways to come up with enough money. He is in a few fantasy football leagues for money and told me that anything he wins will all go to me
