Boo! Morning ladies! Coming at you live from my kitchen counter, a whole week off! Whatever will I do with myself? Mini sailed through her ear tube surgery yesterday w/ flying colors. She just hopped in the wagon and waved to me when the nurse came for her.

HH - So excited for you! Being a Mom is pure awesomness so I hope you get knocked up quickly!

I had yesterday and today off. Unfortunately, I have to work tomorrow and Thursday.

Our apartment was so dirty for so long that DH came home yesterday after I cleaned and he almost passed out. He was like, "It''s just... so CLEAN." I''m a little bit of a failure in the "domestic goddess" department.

WL, glad mini''s surgery went well! Tell us more about this motherhood being awesome stuff.

Dude, I''m totally with you on that, BigT. My main problem is that there aren''t enough places to hold all our our stuff. A and I are both packrats/sentimental schumcks...so we have a hard time getting rid of lots of things...and we just don''t have the closet/storage space right now for all of our things.

Big T - Well all in all it''s the most rewarding job EVER but WARNING it has it''s downs too...for example, we are now watching Elf for the 4,765th time and she is over at her little table yelling at me to hurry up w/ her oatmeal. Could be a long week...However I fully believe in bribery and blackmail. I told her if we could get through until Wednesday w/ good behaivor we could go to Build-A-Bear. We''ll see how that pans out...

Dude tell me about it! Our townhouse is a total closet fail. There are only 2, one in each bedroom. In the whole place!! Plus a coat closet in the garage (?!). When we moved in, it was like, where do we put all our stuff?! Don’t look in the garage…

That made me laugh!!! God, reminds me of my brother when he was 3 and I was 9. He went through Home Alone and Aladdin phases. Now those movies make me want to throw things.

My lil bro Henry watched The Lion King non stop for about 2 years straight. It was also all he wanted to listen to in the car....he''s lucky he made it to 17.

I''m all for bribery (er, positive reinforcement) when it comes to kids. I''m hoping that if/when I decide to have children the cuteness and rewarding parts outweigh the annoying parts. I''m worried about giving up my current lazy lifestyle to take care of another person, and need to be reassured that it''s well worth it.

It feels sooo good to get the dust bunnies from under the sofa. And I picked up all my junk from the bedroom floor. DH did a little dance when he got home last night.
