Morning TP!

Wow. ONCE A YEAR you eat out?!

J and I are such foodies! We LOVE going to restaurants!

This one and this one.

The second one was too big but both look very cute

. I am hoping by the summer I will be bikini ready because they have a ton of cute two pieces.

eta: I have this (in peacock) one too that I purchased in-store a few weeks ago.

Right about once a year. We went for lunch when we were in the San Juan Islands. Before that, the last time had been dinner out after we left the emergency room about a year and a half earlier.

Part of that has to do with what I saw working in the deli.

Mostly though, it is just expensive. We have a very well stocked spice cupboard and cook all sorts of stuff from all different places.

Yea, they are simple, which is why I like them. And they are cut well for those with boobage.

TP thanks for the tips. Right now I''m trying to find a balance between economy and convenience. I do make a lot of stuff from scratch because it all has to be gluten free, but unfortunately I don''t have the time, nor the skill to effectively debone a whole chicken. Not to mention we''re white meat only people. I think it''s great when you and your partner can see eye to eye on things like leftovers. My husband however is very picky will only take leftovers for lunch the next day, he won''t eat them after that. And I''m not creative with reusing things like leftover meat, though I like the thought of making tacos with leftover roasts and stuff like that. I need to find out if we have a restaurant supply store around here. I know lots of times they''re not open to the public, so that could be an issue.

So completely inappropriate for the likes of me!

I wear their halter top bikins with the low cut string tie sides. LOVE that bathing suit!!!

I got a super cute bikini from CK last summer. I love that thing too.

Me too Elle! I fully admit that I can usually make something that tastes just as good at home, but sometimes it''s really nice to not do the cooking. Our favorite restaurant has a really extensive gluten free menu and they really cater to us glutards (manager serves your food, etc) and I like the special treatment. But that''s a place we could go and spend $20 for burgers or $150 for a 3 course steak/fish dinner.

Yeah I hate cooking. J doesnt mind, so he typically does it. A restaurant really is a nice break. But sometimes it DOES taste better at home!

Thats cool that they go out of their way like that for the diet restrictions!

We''ve cut back from 7days/week to 1-2 days a week (just dinner - or one lunch). We went out on the weekends breakfast/lunch/dinner.

Dude, I am wearing a fricking bikini on my honeymoon if it kills me. In fact you guys should pick it out for me.

I''m scared of one pieces. For some reason two pieces balance me out.

yea...no.

I don't show body parts unless they are tight. lol And I see some rolly pollys in two-pieces all the time, some even know how to rock them, but I just can't do it. I'm getting there again...by this summer, I should be straight.

Leftover chicken makes great tacos too.

A few of my really quick but yummy leftovers:
Shredded anything with some BBQ sauce is great for sandwiches. Sliced turkey or chicken reheated by simmering in white wine with rosemary & thyme is yummy. Served with pasta or rice.
Diced up meat (fresh or leftover) can be tossed into pasta sauce to simmer and served over pasta. (WF has some great sauces for pretty inexpensive).
Shwarma -- Caramalize sliced onions, toss in leftover meat (sliced), add spices (cumin, corriander, cinnamon, etc.) to taste. Serve with pita and veggies.

I brought soup and laughing cow...again.

I bought a a few cute swim suits at JCrew.com but one was too big. I took it the dry cleaners to see if they could take it in since I don''t have enough time to exchange it. They told me 10 days and $40!!! So, I called the little old Italian seamstress I know, and she''s going to do it for me...for $10!!! I think I can pick it up today!!

Yay B! Glad you were able to get to her in time yesterday!

Thanks, unfortunately we can''t really do sandwiches. I''m gluten free (our bread doesn''t hold up well to soupy stuff) and DH eats low carb. I love the thought of shwarma though (minus the pita)!

I will stop the bikins after mama-hood, most likely. If my tummy ends up like my moms.. its not going to be pleasant. She put on 90 lbs with me!

The only saving grace I have is that my mom and I are built differently. I'm pear, she's apple. Im hoping thats the difference!

Yoga was exactly what I needed! Totally zen now.

I only wear tankinis. My torso is too long for most one piece suits, and they pull all funny on me. Tankinis allow me to cover up my tummy, which is not only jiggly, but frigheteningly white, but also avoid that awkward pulling of the one piece.

Bia, I LOVE those suits you got, though. Particularly the second one! So pretty!!! You''ll look HAWT on vacay!!!

I have leftover tuscan lentil stew for lunch.

I''m a pear too. I need my boobies on display to distract from the train wreck that is my lower body.

I''m having lentil soup too!

I dont'' know what I''m having yet but I''m STARVING!

So I''m perusing the B&N After Holiday Sale list and they have awesomely priced books ($3.99 mostly). And LOTS of dirty books! I''m shocked at how much erotica is listed.

Did someone say erotica?

I am trying to save money! I will try it sometime this week though...

I thought about doing a tankini...

my belly needs some tightening, and until that happens, no two piece for me! I hate that lower pooch...I''ve never had a baby!

must do crunches!!!
