How does this sound for a thesis?

The characters of Pan’s Labyrinth can have very different archetypes depending on how you choose to view their roles in the story.


Our assignment was to watch Pan''s Labyrinth and write a paper about the Jungian archetypes of three of the characters.
I''ve chosen Ofelia - Hero, Captain Vidal - the Fool, the faun - Wise Old Man.

I''m giving a brief plot summary which will center around events to support my choice of archetypes and then will transition into my view of the theme of the movie (ambiguity) and how these characters add to it.
Ofelia could be the antihero. Captain Vidal could be the Hero. The Faun could be the Devil.

PS: Forgot the ''P'' in ''Pilates'' stands for PAIN! I''m gonna be SORE tomorrow. My abs are SO out of shape!!!

I didn''t like love actually when I saw it, I guess I should give it another go.

I do enjoy mean girls but already have it, might be a tiny bit too angsty for me to watch frequently.

Good choices! I would like to watch the first two again, I really want to like 27 dresses more but it was a little too angsty. Other options sound good too. I like Juno alot but for some reason BF really hates it.

He dosn''t ''get'' anything slightly off-beat or artsy AT ALL. He hated slumdog millionaire, eagle vs. shark, any feature documentaries

Thank you all for reminding me that my DVD collection is painfully lacking, lol.

WL, I was doing Gaiam Pilates Core Challenge with Ana Caban. I''ve heard great things about Winsor Pilates. I need to up my core exercises in general. I''m so weak through my whole center. The core challenge has an 18-minute workout and a 40-minute workout on the same DVD. I did the 40 today. I think I might try and do the 18 a couple times a week and then the 40 on the weekend if I really want to start seeing results.

Also, DC is preciting the storm of the year (since this is a new year than the December storm) this Friday-Saturday. The updates have now completely dismissed the possibility for "inches" of snow and are now talking purely in "feet".

WHY must it snow BUCKETS over the weekend, but only a couple inches during the week!?!?

I want my snow day, yo!

They are talking "1 to 2 feet" of snow.
