My work is having a Chili Cook-Off right now.

I am NOT attending. I hate crap like that.

I like chili but not at work. If they''re going to let everyone stand around and do nothing for a couple of hours, they should stick it at the end of the day (preferably a Friday) so you can sneak out and go home.

Everyone cooks their own chili, and then everyone tastes. We meet up in the lunch room.

I''m not going to get chili. I hate socializing at work and I hate people I don''t know watching me eat.

Sometimes I like white (turkey) chili, and I like vegetarian chili. All other chili makes me [vomit face].

I make a yummy chili. I use cross-rib roast cut into bite size chunks, homemade beef broth, a couple bottles of beer, a few tomatoes, and spices (ancho, cumin, etc.). It cooks up nice and thick but still saucy and gets served over basmati rice.

good except for being fairly sick. We saw louie anderson - HILARIOUS! We were laughing so freaking hard (not to mention i was pretty tipsy the whole time from having champange and not eating).

Lunch was at the bakery/cafe with the awesome cuppies. We had soup, and stuff off the hot bar (eggplant rollatini and mac and cheese for me!) and split a cupcake that was yellow cake, dipped in ganache, and topped with strawberry buttercream.

What happened?

We''re not sure. The issue happened once within the first day or two of having the camera, and we thought it was a fluke. Now its happening more and more frequently.

Basically it just stops allowing you to focus, shoot a picture, or adjust any settings.
