Congratulations on being done with school, ILA!

we''re chartering a cateraman (sp?), and will be hitting up the BVI, and St. John. We leave in 36 days!
Where will you be staying?

If you are traveling around, you HAVE to visit a restaurant called the Last Resort, on Beef Island. On Fridays and Saturdays (i think) they have a live band that does trivia and hands out tequila shots. Oh, and the food there is 5 star, for sure!

Ok...

10 bucks if you can tell me what this stupid sticky note says.
33.gif
Someone left it on my desk.

If you''re leaving a freaking note for someone, can''t you make it at least SOMEWHAT legible?!

Ok I finally figured it out. Maybe I''m just really bad at deciphering handwriting.

Took me 10 minutes. I even was trying to figure it out as I walked to the scanner to scan it to post on here.

LOL
I get this all the time. Dad''s signing up their kids for programs IS THE WORST. seriously, they don''t even spell their names wrong.

We are staying at this place called the Bitter End Yacht Club, in Virgin Gorda. It looks VERY nice from it''s website. I have never been to BVI before, so I''m really excited! I don''t know if we''ll be traveling around, I''ll keep your suggestion in mind. It sounds like a lively, happening place! (although I''m not into drinking shots). We''ll be staying in BVI for 5 nights, and then we''re going to Puerto Rico for 2 nights. I just need to get through these 2 more weeks!

Don''t you hate that? If I''m writing a not for someone else, I make sure to use my good handwriting. I use my chicken scratch handwriting only for myself. Also annoying is when people leave unintelligible phone messages.

. I'm such a turd.

Ascher - that place looks amazing!!! where is it, again?

and...

CONGRATS!!!

Awesome jcar!!!!! He'd look nice in a BMW M3 too

The catamaran sounds so freakin' cool!!!! What an awesome way to vacation.

Asscher, congrats on school being done!!! Are you done for the semester, or for good?

Elle, I understand about the note thing. A lot of our documents from the state hospitals have horrible doctor writing on them, and then the documents are copied and mailed. Makes for quite a few indecipherable documents. I've actually had to call before and have them read things from the original chart to me!!!

Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful location!! If it is the area that i am thinking of, i HIGHLY SUGGEST sunscreen. it is beautiful, and HOT there. the water is sooo blue its amazing! the little shops are fun too!

ETA - not the island that i though of (actually, be thankful, that place was dubbed habinero bay, it was so hot!). BUT, that place is near my favorite restaurant out of all the BV Islands! Its called the Last Resort, and if you are flying into Beef Island, then it is only 10 minutes away from the airport, and on the water!!! It should be close enough to Bitter End for you to take a water taxi.

http://www.ultimatebvi.com/Last-Resort/ -- not a good website, but it explains it a little. I'll try and find a picture for you

here it is! Beef island is on the right (you cant see it) and I think BEYC is up to the left.

god im such a spaz. beef island is the other island you can see. duh.

Actually, I think we are flying into Beef Island. So maybe we will get to check it out! Thanks for the suggestion! I will look at the website too.

well its official. im totally lost on the BVI. I keep on thinking i know where everything is, and wind up being wrong! anyways, you''ll have an amazing time, for sure!!

if you are taking any day trips, i suggest the following

Soggy Dollar Bar (on Jost Van Dyke i believe) - great bar
The Baths (amazing snorkeling)
any Pusser''s Rum Stores. Kvetchy, but fun.
Willy T-s Bar - its on a boat!!!

Awesome! Thanks for all the suggestions! How many times have you been to BVI? You sound like a seasoned traveler.

only once, but we were there for 2 1/2 weeks, and E''s family has been many times before.

How is eveyone''s friday going? the sugar has finally kicked out of me!

Elle-
Your Diamond is now out of your hands, right? your SO has the "control" (so to speak) over it? how are you doing with that? I just realized, on my way to job #2, that E has control of the diamond. holy cow!! i know the setting is not paid off yet. but i totally went on a land slide
1- E asked for control of the ring
2- i am paying rent for next month, so E is not shelling out money for rent this month
3- E has been working lots of overtime that will pay for vacation days and money for vacation (and for rent when we get back).
4- the ring would only take a week to get mounted and sized. if even that many.

holy crap! LIWITIS to the max right now. i am really thinking he wont propose while on vacation, becuase i know E and his spending habits. but WHAT IF???

however, if he buys a Wii, then it will definately NOT happen on vacation.. lol.

Wow that vacation sounds amazing!!! Sunset- HAVE FUN!!

Princess Please- I am finished with my Junior year!! So I ust signed up for my last classes EVER (hopefully for a long long time!!!!)

Jcarly- It''s Maastricht, The Netherlands! I had a meeting today for it, the last one before we leave, and I AM SO EXCITED!

I am so nervous though because me and M (i''m going to call him that I don''t like BF) have not been away from each other for longer than two weeks and even then I get emotional towards the last 5 days and get soo sad- I''m scared I''m gonna miss him too much!!!

Elle- GOSH how long do you think you are going to have to wait?? And did you pick a setting that you wanted already or which ones did you tell him were your favorite? I actually am letting my BF pick the stone (SO SCARED for that) But it''s hopefully going to be a chunky faceted OMC. I showed him the ones I liked! Also- I HATE WHEN PEOPLE WRITE that SH*TTY!!!!! My teacher (who I really hate, I''m sure that doesn''t help
29.gif
29.gif

) writes like a 14 year old girl with the sideways s''s and stuff, and then I ask her what it says because I can''t read it (and normally i''m realy good at deciphering handwriting) and she''s like, "Oh, duh, it says this" well she doesn''t say duh, her voice has that attitude though. I''m sooo happy to be done with that class, I seriously hated it!

I''m going to chicago tomorrow though for my grandparents 50th!! I hope me and M make it that far (I have no doubt we will
30.gif
) and I get to see my billions of cousins... Have a great weekend everyone if I don''t check in!

I love ugly sweater parties! So much fun.

happy monday everyone!

i hope everyone had a good weekend?

Jcar: Good morning! Yes, SO has the stone and is in communication with the jeweler about the setting. I''m doing pretty good.... he has good taste. He knows exactly what I like and why I like it. It''s a little scary, but I have faith in him! Oh, and that holiday sweater party picture is totally sweet!

ILA: I''m thinking I''ll be waiting another 3 months or less. I''m hoping he does it before my parents come to visit in the beginning of August. My mom mentioned she wants to take me wedding dress shopping if he''s proposed by then.

thanks:)
i guess 3 months isnt so bad to wait.

our internet is down today at work. some genius thought it wouls be smart to only have online programs...

Haha. I hate that.

Sometimes I fantasize that the computers at work will go down with no sign of going back up and they''ll send me home.

I had an amazing weekend. I got to watch one of my best friends in the world graduate, I got to be in a state and town that I love, I got to see people that are important to me, and I got to generally have a blast. I spent time with old friends, made new friends (funny how easy it was to hang out with people there compared to people here), and relaxed.

ALSO in super exciting LIW news, my best friend met The One! She introduced me to her as, "The love of my life, the woman I am going to marry." ADORABLE. She''s been quite the player for the past few years, and seeing her immediately settle down with this girl is amazing. Add to that the fact that her girlfriend and I are so much alike it''s scary, and I couldn''t be happier for them. I got some quality bonding time with BFF''s GF, and really enjoyed spending time with her. So YAY! They''re planning on a late 2010/early 2011 wedding IIRC, and I just can''t wait until the official proposal. They''re adorable. (Can you tell I''m a little elated for my friend?) OH! *And* BFF has a great job using her major and making bank. So life is pretty fantastic for her, all things considered.

But now I''m back in NC, and not exactly thrilled about it. But BF is here and our animals are here, so I was pretty excited to see them. And BFF and her GF are planning on visiting sometime this summer. [:D]

That''s cool that you had such an awesome weekend, Princesss! Mine was not nearly that exciting!

That''s so cute to see two people so in love. It''s hard not to get swept up in it and excited when someone you love is so happy. Good to hear!

Welcome back to NC! If you dislike it so much there... why don''t you try Michigan?

Hahahahaha! Well played. (And for the record, I think I would be one of those people that stays inside for 8 months and works from home, keeping the heater on at 80 degrees all year because I''m afraid of the cold.)

Morning B!

How was your weekend?
I love how you all call me B LOL. All my friends IRL call me that.

I had a good weekend. Saturday was very busy. Had class, then babysat for the little guy I used to nanny for. Stayed there from 7:30pm until around 1:30am. I got to hang out with him so that was fun, and I made $140
36.gif

Yesterday I cooked dinner for FI's family. The food came out really good but the company was whhaaaack
20.gif
FSIL and FBIL (her hubby) got into it earlier that day and FBIL was acting like a child. He spent most of the day in our bedroom (he does this often), fiddling with FI's guitars (he's a musician too) and left all of us out in the living room. After dinner he complained of a headache and went back in and fell asleep (he stayed out with us for maybe a total of a half hour--nevermind that it was Mother's Day and his wife, a new mother, was taking care of the baby who doesn't sit still because he's crawling--never thinking to help her! That really annoys me
11.gif
I would be so sad if FI turned out to be that kind of father). FI got trapped in there with him before dinner because FBIL so obviously wanted an escape, he used FIs new guitar as an excuse. But afterwards I took FI aside and I told him he better help me OR ELSE, when everyone left I was going to make him pay. And it was going to hurt! LOL.

Later I felt bad for FI because he was bummed. He told me that he was sorry that his sister and BIL ruined Mother's Day for his mom. I told him that I saw FMIL very happy (slightly annoyed by her son-in-law, but not enough to ruin her evening). I will say that she was thrilled that we cooked dinner for her and got her flowers! She also helped me quite a bit which was nice. I get very stressed when I host, as I haven't acquired the knack for it just yet and she senses it. I must look like Im about to jump out of the closest window.
9.gif

All in all, it was good. I just feel bad for my FSIL because her husband, although he's a nice guy, he's oblivious and some of the things he does can be very rude. I also don't like that he doesn't take the initiative with his son when the family is around...he just expects his wife to do everything, or his in-laws. We're family so it's not a big deal, but I can only imagine what other people think of him.

Anyway, I meant to answer you questions about my weekend, but I am noticing it turned into somewhat of a small vent.
