I am in awe of all you 5''10 ladies! I am almost a foot shorter than you; I''m 5''0 on a good day.
Lucky! You probably get to wear really tall heels!

I''m jealous of all the cute heels you get to wear without looking like Godzilla going on a rampage through Tokyo.

And size-wise, I''m a 10 in work pants so they drap nicely and an 8 in tight, I''m going out and want to look HOT jeans. But I''m not buying anymore 10s. I''m not I''m not I''m not.

Eventually I want to be back in 6s. *sigh*

My 6s fit because I wear them all the time (they have that stretchy material in them). I have to get those kind because then they''re too tight on my butt and too big on my waist.

I''m in denial Elle, I''m a 10 and don''t want to admit it. But since I didn''t buy them, it''s not my size. See how it works?
Yes, thats why my size 8 work pants that miraculously still fit are still getting worn even though they''re falling apart.
20.gif

Isn''t it awful how a stupid tag inside of pants, that are in NO WAY consistent can make you that upset? I hate that the tag rules my life. It''s... pathetic. i should just start sewing ''Size 6'' tags into my pants.

It''s ok B, I know the double-digit sizes hurt to get into. Especially because once you hit 14, you can''t even shop in the same stores anymore. I keep thinking of 10 as 2 sizes from plus-size, and that makes me want to never eat again.
It''s totally psychological. I have friends who wear size 10s, 12s, 14s, 22s, and they look amazing. It''s all about how you carry yourself.

The thing is, I dont'' want it to get out of hand. I don''t ever mean to sit hear and cry that I am fat, because I know I''m not. I am over my ideal weight, for sure. But a lot of women are. The issue is being healthy and happy with myself, which I don''t feel I am 100%. There is always room for improvement. In my case, I need to exercise more because my energy is down, and I am getting flabby, something I never worried about before (although my weight is not moving, it will go up if I don''t put a stop to it). Plus, I want to be in the pinnacle of health when I start having kids, so it really doesn''t go down hill.

That is an excellent point. I do feel super short when I wear flip flops, though. My cousin''s 10 year old daughter is my height.

YES! See when we''re skinny, we can wear those heels and just look like fashion forward model-esque types, but when you''re feeling fat, it''s more like Godzilla...

Bia and Princesss, it is wonderful to hear that I am not the only tall one who feels HUGE when she''s slightly overweight. Its hard to be tall and overweight (even by like 10 pounds!) because you really just feel like a linebacker.

Doesn''t help that FF is 5''11" and 160.

MissKitty, don''t feel bad... I''m only about 1 inch (maybe 1 1/2 on a good day) taller than you. Remember, we''re not short, we''re FUN SIZED! hehe.

Yup. And I''m down 10 lbs from where I was!!! I like to be solidly less than my BFs. The problem is, I''m still a skinny girl in my head. I never learned how to dress my...fluffier...body.

LOL Do you weigh yourself in front of him? I never used to but then one day he came in and looked over my shoulder...so I figured, why pretend? Now all pretenses have gone with the wind. He did tell me I can''t lose more than 15 pounds because he doesn''t like skinny chicks LOL So, I have that working in my favor.

FI weighs 175, and he''s my height. But, he''d definitely more lean than I am.

NEVER!

Unless I''m 115, the weight that all guys think girls are at, he''s not seeing me on the scale.

Elle, you don''t look "fluffy" (I like that word princesss!) at all though. Are you more bottom heavy? I am pretty proportioned when it comes to fat distribution. It goes to my butt (of course) but also to my legs, arms and tummy. I can pinch a bit on my arms

so seriously, why do guys think that??

E bought me a shirt from a concert. a size M in Young Womens. Um, yeah. With these babies, i will NEVER be a medium.

The problem is even when I''m skinny, I''ve got CRAZY curves. So hard to dress. Tiny waist, big boobs and a big butt. Yeah, it''s a great body type until you realize most clothes are cut for girls that go straight up and down. Nobody wants women to have curves anymore. LAME.

Not true sweets. I think a lot of men (most that I know) prefer the Salmas and Scarletts of the world over the Gwenyths.

I wouldn''t be me without my curves. I love them and embrace them. It''s definitely part of my culture and therefore part of who I am.

CURVES ROCK!

Yes, I''m smaller on top, smaller chest, narrow shoulders, longer neck. That''s why my wedding dress will be strapless, I think my neck/shoulders are probably the most attractive feature on me, or my legs. I have hips, a butt, and a tummy. I don''t mind the booty and hips, but this tummy has GOT to go.

FF loves my butt. He was never a butt guy before me. He says "everytime i look at a skinny chick butt, I cant imagine why i ever found that attractive"

I sometimes think he likes my butt more than my chest!

i hear ya. except, nobody but MEN want us to have curves, and designer guys do not count. untill they start making clothes for curves.

although i remember outside of high school when J.Lo jeans came out, and they were the only ones that fit my booty! LOL. Now, thankfully DKNY does.

Yeah, I won''t ever drop my curves. Jeans like Citizens/Sevens are for straight up and down girls. I cant even get them over my butt.

I need "curvy" cut jeans. Those always fit me really well.

FI is, without a doubt, an a$$ man. He likes chest too but only if they are natural. He actually doesn't mind a small chest. But curves do matter to him.

He can see the most beautiful woman ever to walk to earth, and if she has skinny legs and no butt, she instantly turns into a little frogette in his eyes. lol

Yeah. Butt overflow is NOT attractive. I don''t care how expensive the jeans are, my whole butt should stay INSIDE the pants.
