So I come into work and have an email from HR. They are all wound up because I ordered a keyboard drawer for my desk because my mouse and keyboard are too high. When I went to the doctor on Saturday I had him look at my wrist along with the freckle and turns out I''ve got tendonitis in my wrist (probably from the mouse) so he said good thing you ordered that keyboard drawer because it will help your wrist feel better.

Well, the admin had but in a request to have someone come install it and when I called last week, I was told it could take a month. So I contacted someone else and said my Dr. really thinks this should be installed sooner to which she said to tell my boss to contact her boss and they will move up the request and install sooner.

Well...........then that exploded into him sending the emails over to HR and they are all going crazy over there thinking this is some workman’s comp thing and someone should come assess my work station and I''m telling my boss ''ITS REALLY NO BIG DEAL!!!!!!!!!!!!''I just want the drawer installed before a month so my wrist doesn’t hurt. She had to call HR and tell them but they said they were just taking precaution and supposedly they understand now.

lol
20.gif
I''m thinking OMG calm down people!!!!!!!!!!!!! lol It''s NOT that bad. Lol
LOL

Drama!

I swear sometimes the fear in America of lawsuits drives people batty.

Yeesh, over a keyboard drawer!

Mornin, B!

Sorry you''re still feeling crappy... glad you''re home though. Definitely go to the doctors!

So I called the DR finally... I have a serious vitamin D deficiency, which causes.. well.. pretty much all of the problems I''ve been having. It should help regulate my mood, hormones, help lose weight, and help my sleeping issues.

I''m so happy there''s something I can do to fix this!!!
Bia - hope its nothing serious! feel better. Called you called out
31.gif

Elle - that is so weird, I HAVE THE EXACT SAME THING!!! when they ran my test last year, i was at an 11...when i should have been much, much, much, much higher. So i tend to get depressed and chunky Oct-June. I really need to remember to take my VitD.
Yeah... that''s me too. Blah! Chunky and depressed!

Plus it will help my skin that is constantly breaking out, and my libido that has been falling off for a couple of years now.

I swear vitamin D is a miracle.
Okay, apparently I need to start taking Vitamin D! LOL. Glad it''s a simple fix, elle.

Feel better, Bia. I''m sorry you don''t feel so hot.

Somebody give me a way to stay awake. I''m struggling. I have a minor hangover and didn''t sleep enough last night. It''s killing me. My Ultimate team lost in the semi-finals, which sucked, so I went out and drowned my sorrows with some people from the league. (And giggled to myself because BF''s team lost in the first round
11.gif
.) Got back to BF''s house and wanted to drive home, but I had a lucid moment and realized there was NO WAY on Earth I was actually good to drive. So I crawled into his bed and fell asleep cuddled up with the puppy. So please, girls...any secrets up your sleeve to keep me awake?

Major drama!
32.gif
32.gif
I told my boss I didn''t want it to turn into this! I just want my drawer installed. I wanted to do it myself last week but she had told me I can''t. It would take literally 5 minutes to do. Ya know? lol

Now I''m all worried they will come over here and be like you need to go to a line of doctors to have your wrist fixed. We need to redo your desk! I don''t need any of that! My Dr. said to just use the new drawer, use wrist support when its bothering me, and take Ibuprofin.

lol

Yeah, I''m thinking Diet Mountain Dew is going to be my best friend today.

Birthday plans: well, BF agreed to go on a hike. And I''m pretty sure I got him to agree to the baseball game, which is super exciting. He''s currently wandering around stores trying to figure out a birthday present. I thought I gave him some good suggestions, but oh well. He called me all frustrated because, "You''re so hard to shop for and I found one thing but maybe you won''t like it and maybe I only think it''s good becuase I like it and not actually because you like things like that and you''re difficult ergo this is difficult and you''re doing it on purpose ergo I''m having a hard time and I know Latin so my point is more valid than yours!" The boy cracks me up. I told him it''s not that serious, but he''s taking this very seriously. So adorable.

And I''ll be the wonderful, the exciting....23.
20.gif
It''s not a big deal birthday. I just want something a little special from him that *he* picked out. I don''t really care what, I just really wanted him to go find something that makes him think, "Ooooh, princesss will love this!"

lol it''s just crazy! I''ve had this problem for a while and its not that big of a deal. Like I said, I just want the drawer installed sooner than a month from now because it will help me out. Did I mention this guy also forwarded the email not only to someone in HR but to the VP of HR as well? OMG!!!!!!!!
14.gif
lol

Jcar - I tried going down to the gym and hopping on the elliptical for 5 minutes. Didn''t help.

Princesss, my BF is the same way. He second guesses EVERYTHING he considers buying me. It''s funny. He is seriously clueless when it comes to gift buying.

Thats cool that you get to do your hike. I''m kinda jealous. Plus a baseball game!

23 wasn''t that great of a birthday, IMO. Actually.. so far all of them after 21 have been kind of lame.

Oh wait... I met FF on my 23rd birthday. Nevermind!
6.gif

princesss, I'll trade you. I turn 23 and you turn 27...how's that?

btw: Elle, happy you found out what was up. I wonder how well the VitD works? Maybe I could use a dose...I know I could use a dose of sun. My pale behind needs a tan!

20.gif

Yeah, I feel like when I want to make a big deal out of a birthday, I''ll have to re-do one of the special ones.

Sweet Sixteen, Take 2!

OH! So this band of guys my BF went to HS with (one of them was on BF''s Ultimate team in college) played on some morning show here in Charlotte this morning. I heard them on a Nivea commercial yesterday, and you can vote for them on VH1''s Top 20 Countdown. I''m super excited for them. This is basically the band that I listened to ALL through college. They did a ton of shows at my school, and because one of the guys played Ultimate at my school, they did a lot of frisbee fundraisers.

Now I''m hoping they''re playing here tonight/tomorrow and that can be my big birthday celebration thing.

Yeah, I''m in that club.

At this point, she cares more about grandkids than me getting married. She thinks my waiting til 30 is a bit strange.

I think she''s hoping for an "oops" and she''ll get to be a grandma sooner.

yeah. the other day she told me that she''s here to support me if anything (ie babies) were to happen. riiiiiggght
