Lost Sapphire has been on my mind a lot lately. I'm hoping she's been posting in parts of the Board that I don't visit too often. Has she been around? Does anyone know how she's doing?

Life just kind of ran away with me the past year. I just started lurking/posting again. WOW it's been awhile!

Condensed version: Last year though I finally decided that I wanted to get into the health field, and was applying to medical schools, studying, volunteering, shadowing, etc which was very time consuming. My FI started getting cold feet and wanted some "time apart," which was hard for me, my world fell apart (we've since gotten back together and are working out the kinks.) My mom and I went on this two and a half week road trip out west, which was insane, I've never been more tired. My grandfather was placed in ICU due to a lot of lung problems right before I took my MCAT exam, and I was very unnerved- he lost his battle with lung cancer in February- it was hard, but I know he's in a better place. Also, I graduated from university with my bachelors of science in April, and the past school year was pretty intense.

So, yeah, a lot went on! Hopefully I'll be able to post a bit more in CS (I have a few acquisitions I've been meaning to post ) Thanks for thinking of me Packrat!!

This may have already been mentioned before, but a lot of people who are MIA have probably found other PSers on FB and maybe other sites and have chosen to post there instead.

There are a lot of people who don't post here anymore and it's definitely not the same place since they left.
