I'm here!
Was busy trying to dig myself out of a hole for 2 month for a class that I was failing. I wasn't going out on weekends or anything - good news is that I passed the class and so I'll be here a lot more often!

I got the ring of my dreams and then wanted to 'rest'.... hah! do you know what I mean?
But I missed all those sassy American girls (and the rest of us
) so wandered back just a few days ago.
Actually, I was *inspired* by my husband's surprise Christmas gift: a HOF .48ctw five stone eternity ring (in Australia we use the word 'eternity' to signify any ring that is given after the marriage and worn alongside an engagement and wedding ring).
Never met a nicer or chattier bunch of people than on PS, that's fer shure!
It's amazing the feelings I get looking at these names....Whitby turned out to be a childhood friend of a girl I knew in Primary School!!

I was getting too revved up over coloured stones - and YOU were partly responsible!

I remember from before, PS can be *addictive*. And I have a personality that is easily swayed...eek, more screen time!!!
But it's great to be back.
Let me tell you, the first I knew about my husband's little foray to the local shops was a week before Christmas.
He swaggered back through the front door, about an hour later, and told me he'd been jewellery shopping!
When I pressed him for details, he told me that as he was leaving the store, 'he felt so sick, like he was going to fall over'. (in relation to the money he'd forked out)
So I took that as a good sign!!
Still, I tossed and turned right up until Christmas Day - tbh, I could barely look.
Why oh why couldn't he involve me in this type of thing? He knows I LOVE jewellery and shopping for gad's sake!
So: out comes a little presentation bag from the swankiest jeweller in town. That's a good sign.
The HOF ring is lovely, luckily I can wear it as an eternity and tbh it's the perfect size to go with my solitaire!
Talk about instant gratification.
He tells me that's nothing in relation to what's coming for my birthday? (Turning 40 Monday week). I'm really nervous...
I think it's a pendant... actually I wanted to plan a sassy rhr to celebrate my 'coming of age', but mustn't look gift horse in mouth.

It's sometimes hard to keep up with every-thing and every-body, *especially* during holiday time. And now that most of us have more than one place to meet and talk, that makes keeping up just here even harder. I know I've been guilty of being MIA for quite a while and I have a couple of new pieces to post too. I've been derelict in my duties as a long time PSer. LOL!
Sharon, I just spent a lovely few hours with Catmom at Jonathan's shop (GOG) in the middle of December. She's doing fine and looked fabulous, and we got to "play" with AVCs and AVRs for a few hours. It's so much fun to design and dream of beautiful things and Jonathan was very generous to us both with his time and attention. We had a ball!
