He is very thoughtful. I opened it at my Mom and Dads house. Because we haven''t picked the dates yet, it was a handwritten message in a card. After I read it I turned to him and asked Are you Serious? (no dummy he just wrote that to get you all worked up and not mean it, duh) and I ran and gave him the biggest hug. He''s so sweet.

DH and I each got a new car recently, and have just been away on 2 weeks holiday, so we decided no pressies for each other. However, I bought two t-shirts and 2 hats for him and had his logo (he recently started up his own business and designed a logo himself, which he is extremely proud of!!) embroidered on each. He was THRILLED! I really wish he''d stop wearing them though, just for one day, because they are really really overdue for a visit to the washing machine!!
I had asked mum and dad for a new king size thick doona and new cover for our bed for winter. Bless them, I got those, plus a thinner king size summer doona, just in case
MY FAV PRESENT: My awesomely talented graphic designer older brother is terribly strapped for cash as he is undertaking his PhD, so he downloaded a heap of my absolute favourite old cartoons we used to watch as kids that aren''t televised anymore, and made up a compilation DVD called ''The RetroXmas Collection''. He designed the cover himself, a pink and white collage of various characters from the shows he downloaded. We watched it after Christmas lunch and mum and dads and had a really good laugh. It''s SO clever. Easily my favourite pressie of 2008.
My baby brother gave DH and myself a dinner voucher for our favourite restaurant, the little love.
We also received u-shaped travel pillows for our necks, because of the long holiday drive we had ahead (very thoughtful!), movie tickets, lotto tickets and scratchies. I won $3 on my scratchie, yippee!!
