Blushing, well, interesting timing.
Maisie, good luck with your appt.
Melanie, same good wishes to you.
Lulu, sha, inluv, cello, everyone, thinking about you.

Drk, your strength is so impressive. I totally hear you. We have only been trying for 9 cycles, I know that with my health history I''m lucky to even have any female bits left. It is sad that particular zygote moved on (at 4 weeks I''m not considering it a miscarriage), but am working on mentally preparing myself (is that even possible?) for the future miscarriages that statistically will happen. Keep on truckin'' lady. You are amazing.

Here is a resource I got from Maggie, (who is awesome and puts up with my endless questions with patience and insight), and wanted to share the link b/c I feel like we all come here wondering ''what is normal'' esp with test results.
Numbers and such are near the end.

Fisher I had them both done at the same time the first go and it was 18 vials of blood. Now most weeks they just take 7, but I was like a raisin walking out of there the first time.
18 vials. Wowzers. I''m sure I would have been passed out, down for the count!!

Thinking all kinds of healing, comforting thoughts for you, Swimmer!!

Wow Sha! That is incredible news!

So Sha, does it feel any more "real" yet?

So happy for you, lady!!!!!!

Congratulations sha! And without FMU too! So happy for you!!!

Yay Sha!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Congratulations!!!!

Thanks everyone! You guys are so sweet.

Fisher - it still seems surreal, really. Yesterday I did feel dizzy a few times, though, and also kept smelling a strange smell, that DH didn't seem to notice. I did also start to have some intermittent pains in my breasts yesterday too. Other than that, I feel pretty much the same!

So do you really think you O'd at CD13/14? I'm thinking good thoughts for you for your first cycle on Clomid!

Morning ladies!

Congrats again Sha! I'm so happy for you and hoping we all get to join you in the preggo thread soon! Tons of dust for a *sticky* bean!

Fisher -- Got any crosshairs to report?

Shout outs to: Lulu, Swimmer, Festy, Feb2003, Charger, Cello, Melanie (hope I didn't forget anyone)!

CD3...

Sha Great news!

I am so happy for you! Now that you are pg, though, you should stop drinking green tea. Apparently the antioxidants or something else in it acts as an anti-folate (i.e., inhibits your body from absorbing folic acid)... folic acid is just sooo important for your growing baby these first weeks, so you don''t want to do anything that decreases the amounts in your system!

Congrats Sha!

Thanks!

Dreamer, thanks for mentioning the green tea. I was actually reaching for my usual cuppa this morning and then remembered I should try to cut down on it. I know it's not very high in caffeine....but still... I'm trying to remember to take my prenatal every day too, instead of skipping it like I used to do sometimes.

By the way, is the Just Barely Preggo thread still around?

********************************

So who's going to be testing next? Is anyone else in the tww?

We went for the consultation today for my husband to have his vasectomy reversed. We were told that only one tube can be repaired but there is a chance it won''t work anyway. We have decided to give up the idea of another baby.

I hope everyone here conceives quickly and has wonderful pregnancies.

Oh Maise, I''m so so sorry hon.

{{{{{Hugs to you}}}}}

Maisie I am so so sorry. Many ((((hugs))) to you!

Maisie
*hugs* so sorry to hear that.

I''m sorry, too, Maisie....

How are you feeling about it?

Maisie- I''m so sorry! Big hugs to you.

Sha- Congrats!!

Congrats Sha!!!!

Aww Maisie I''m so sorry about the news. How are you feeling with such a big decision? ((hug))

I''m here but since I don''t chart I don''t have much to say. DH and I have been on a BD marathon though. Haha. And in the morning no less! I''m a total morning person, but not a morning get-it-on person so this is new :-) Haha. I think this is a very special time and it''s made us even closer (and randier haha).

Hope everyone is doing well. :-)

I''m sorry Maisie.

Sha, I checked on the Barely Preggo thread, they are closed. We can start one though!

sunkist- or write to the Admin and ask them to reopen the old one.

I knew someone must be KTFU when I saw how much action there was over here.
Congrats, Sha. So excited for you

Cello, wooohooo for the morning BD marathon!
2.gif
I found it much easier to do a marathon in the morning hours than at night. Hubby loved it and so did I cause I wasn''t so tired like I am everynight. GOOD LUCK!

Just remember with green tea is isn''t just caffein, it is also the folate thing too! I was never great with taking my prenatal, but I tried my best in the first 12 weeks when it is most important!

Oh Maise, I am so sorry. Big hugs from me to you! It must be some consolation to look at the beautiful children you have already... am I right that you have four kids? What a joy!

Maisie, I''m so sorry. That was a brave decision to make, to decide to stop.

Melanie,

I'm not extremely familiar with IUI. When will you know if it was successful? As soon as 7 DPO, or does it take longer?

Hoping for an excellent outcome!!!

Fisher, I had my second iui today (they do it two days in a row, the first yesterday when I had my surge). They test two weeks later, so it was going to be April 9, but then I mentioned that would have been my wedding anniversary from my first marriage. Ha. The nurse seemed more put off than I was, but in the end when she suggested scheduling it for April 8th instead, I said sure - why not test sooner? So that's when I'll know, if I can resist the urge not to test on my own before then.

Thanks everyone for the good wishes.

Hey everyone! Happy Friday!!!

So, I did get my crosshairs! Yay!!!! I ovulated over a week earlier than my earliest ovulation ever, and well over three weeks earlier than I have at times in the past. YIPPEEE!!! I likely dropped a "non-old" egg!!! Chart to follow....

Melanie, thanks for the information. I''m definitely praying for this round to work for you!!

Maisie, I''m sorry about the appt. yesterday. I''m thinking of you today!!

This post has to be quick fast in a hurry (not like my usual novels). My supervisor''s birthday is today and I made cupcakes for her last night and Paul and I blew up 125 balloons (6 lawn size garbage bags full!!) that my co-workers and I are going to cram into her office, along with streamers and confetti. It''s going to be a great day!!

I''m going to take my camera for pictures. I''ve not done anything as silly as this since college. She''s a total nut and will L
30.gif
VE it, but I have to get there before her to get it done.

Have a great day, ladies!!

Oh my, Fisher, what a GREAT looking chart! With all that cm and bding, this just HAS to be the cycle for you!!! Hope you have a fantastic day at work, sounds fun!

Maisie, I''m so sorry to hear that your plan to reverse isn''t a go. How are you holding up? Are you considering any other options?

Anyone testing this weekend? Good luck to all!

Fisher, yay for early ovulation and crosshairs
9.gif
! Doesn't it feel great to have the pre-O phase over it, instead of waiting for it endlessly and Bding to exhaustion?
9.gif
You seem to have responded really well to the Clomid. And your BD timing is FABULOUS!!! I'm really thinking this will the cycle for you, too! Keep us updated as you go to the tww.

Thanks tiffany and cello, for the good wishes! Dreamer - you're right about the green tea and anti-folate effect. I usually try to minimize that by taking my prenatal in the evening - a good 8 hours or so after my green tea. But now I won't be drinking that much green tea anymore - so I'll start taking the prenatals in the morning.

Sunkist - that's an idea about reviving the Barely Preggo thread....I can totally see the need for it, as I don't feel ready yet to jump into the Preggo thread. But at the same time I have so many questions! Thinking about it... Have you visited the Preggo thread yet?

Melanie, how did your IUI's go? Are they painful? I hope you have a BFP coming your way in the next week and a half!

Wow Fisher that chart is amazing!! I really believe this will be your cycle!!!

Maisie, that must be incredibly difficult. Thinking of you and your family.
