Fisher - your doggles are to die for!! Where did you get that golfer outfit?! HAHAHAH. SO CUTE!!
Big ditto I meant to comment earlier!

Fishie - love your pups! And I''m glad to hear that you''re feeling better about the clomid. How many DPO are you at this point?

Lulu - My Dylan is sending lots of head nudges and tail wags to your new pup. He''s just adorable. Congrats!

Thanks, friends! We love our puppers.

Mela, TaDah''s outfit came from Target. He''s outgrown it now, but he can still wear the hat.

Blen, I was dying over the chasing your hubby with the plug story!! Told Paul about it, he said I''m not allowed to do that to him. But now that the idea''s been planted....
2.gif

I''m now 10 DPO. Double digits, whoo hoo! I thought ovulating earlier would make me more patient through the two week wait: nope.

My best friend called me today; she''s going to have a baby! She''s due 11/27/2009. A day after my birthday. The kid will be a genius!! I knew she''d be super fertile; she kept having breakthrough bleeding on the pill and had to go up and up and up on the doseage. Yep. First try, without even trying. Lucky momma!!
9.gif
She said it''s her sincerest hope that her baby has a friend who''s just a few weeks younger to play with. Told her we''ll do our best!

The girl at work''s baby shower is Thursday. Some of us went in on getting her the Boppy Entertain Me Gym (I think it''s called). I volunteered to get it at Babies R Us this weekend.

Love a reason to browse that place!!

Happy weekend to all.

Fisher- I love dressed up dogs. Maybe we should start posting Friday pics of our dogs in costume. It will give us something to look forward to.

So, I''m 16 DPO, temp still up, BFN. What in the world? My LP was always 12, then 14 the first 2 cycles of clomid. If it''s getting longer because of the clomid I''m going to scream. Really loudly. Argh. Seriously, AFF better show up soon.
I know I ovulated on CD 15, there''s no question about that.

Hey Melanie, I''m right behind you. Just turned 36 and would like 2. Although my Wii Fit age is 30, so maybe that''s good for my eggs??

Tiffany not to get hopes up, but DivaDiamond never got a BFP until she was like 18 DPO or something?? It can happen!

Tiffany, what DD said is totally true. One of the girls at work never got a positive on a home pregnancy test, but her blood test was through the roof. It does happen...

Thinking positive for you, girlie!!

(I'm so totally rooting for this place to be a ghost town still!)

Had our trip to Babies R Us for my friend at work's shower. The entertainment gym wasn't in stock there (even though the net said it was), so we (I drug Paul with me, he was thrilled
20.gif
) looked at five other items on her list in the same price range. None of them were there, either. Finally found ONE that was there, and got it. It's cute and I'm sure she'll like it. It's called Bright Start Right By Your Side Infant Seat. So, I'm a little disappointed at BRU so far. I mean, we had to go through 7 items to find ONE in the store! Nuts!

Oooh, I also found a sonogram photo frame for my BFF. It's so cute. Says, "So Little, So Loved." Her first appt. is 10/13 and she's hoping they'll do a photo shoot of the little one. Just in case, I'm mailing it priority so it'll be there in time for the baby to be framed!

And, Paul and I found a glider we both really like, but I'm going to look at other places, since BRU is way over priced in items like that which you can get other other stores.

I also joined the BRU rewards club.

Hoping I get to use that bad boy a LOT, and SOON!

Tiff, I think show off your fur babies day Friday is wonderful, or just anything that makes you smile on Fridays.... We so need a little color around these boards (not that I don't love the charts and the pee sticks... but you know!!).

Sha and Fisher, I''m totally freaked out! But happy! But freaked out! Hehe.

DH just made up email addresses for both of the babies and is writing me super cute emails from them. I definitely feel better when I think of them as our little kiddos vs. this hypothetical idea of twins. Fisher, those pics are beyond adorable! I often think about IG too! I only caught her story partway through, but if I recall correctly she went into preterm labor, which I''m under the impression is not any more likely with ID vs. frat twins? I definitely do think that ID twins have a higher chance of intra-uterine demise though. Having them prematurely is my worst fear!!! If only putting my hand over my crotch at all times could prevent that!

Just checking to see if anyone was testing this morning. I guess not?
3.gif
Fisher and Tiffany I'm soooo excited and want you guys to see BFP when you do test next!!!!!

Tiffany are you charting? What are your temps like?

Fisher, you are too cute getting a BRU rewards card.
9.gif
That will be very useful! I think you'll be using it very soon! Then Paul had better watch out for the bank account
9.gif
31.gif
hehehe I can tell you're going to have sooooo much fun getting ready for a little one. Fingers crossed a million times and tons of baby dust going to you. If AF doeson't show when will you test?? Cause honey, if your temps are headed no where but up... she might have already been turned away at the gate. We've got to find out somehow!!! (I apologize for my impatience

)

Hoping everyone enjoys the weekend!

Peony how precious about the emails, awww! Your hubby is too cute~ How fun!

hi everyone just checking in! tiffany, yes i think you get to count your wii age. i should start playing. fisher is the waiting killing you? i''m so enjoying having the possibility that i might put off finding out ... that said i bought two tests this morning and may do one tomorrow morning. i''m at 9 or 10 dpo today and expecting AF early next week.

happy saturday all.

Fisher, the look of humiliation on your first pup's face is PRICELESS!
9.gif
9.gif
Oh, if dogs could talk! The things they would say!
5.gif

I was hoping someone would've been testing today, too. .. But tomorrow is good too!
1.gif
Melanie, I hope you get good news if you do decide to test tomorrow. It can be really nervewracking - so I can totally understand why you would want to hold off for a few days. Fisher, what day are you testing? Is anyone else testing soon?

tiffany, have you gotten anything conclusive yet re: Af or a BFP? What dpo are you today? The latest I've ever gotten AF on Clomid is 17 dpo. I think I read on FF that someone got theirs on 18 dpo, but I think the general consensus is that if you reach 18 dpo without AF (and you're pretty sure of when you O'd), you are most likely pregnant.

Peony, your DH emailing messages from the kiddos is sooo cute! He sounds so sweet. Both of you are going to be great parents!

Hi, Sunkist! I''m excited for your appt. next week!!!
9.gif

About the BRU rewards card... I wasn''t going to get it, kind of felt stupid getting it without any known child on the way, but when the sales person said I''d get the credit of that purchase (which wasn''t all my money, we pooled it), I got excited and looked over at Paul (he thinks I do silly things sometimes, and I didn''t want this to be one of them) and he shrugged his shoulders and said we could get one, for our baby. So I jumped on it like crazy. I''m not going to go putting it on my key ring or anything... but it''s good to know it''s there. They send you special coupons and sales, too, so you should totally get one!!!
9.gif

I won''t be testing again until 14 DPO at the very earliest (that will be Tuesday), and likely not then, either. I figure if I''m pregnant, I''m pregnant if I test on 12 DPO, 14 DPO, or 16 DPO, so why rush it and face potential let down I don''t have to endure quite yet?

This cycle has for *certain* been very different than past cycles, but I''m thinking Clomid is the culprit. I''ve never been so aware of little cramps and twinges (odd, like a gentle tightening) in my pubic area before, and I''ve never been as emotional as I feel like I am now. I was talking to Paul about that last night, while I was looking on FF to check off "emotional" (it''s not there, just irritable) and Paul asked if irrational was an option! Haha. I did start crying in BRU when I had to go through 7 items to finally find something for my friend''s shower gift. Irrational, definitely. I''ve been super short-tempered with him, too. Luckily, I''m quick to notice my behaviors and apologize and he''s great at accepting apologies.
9.gif
My chest has grown again, but this time I''m noticing that my nipples are totally sensitive and there''s only one bra that feels comfortable over them. The color has deepened, too, which is odd. Never had that before. Really though, Clomid is about changing your hormones to make ovulation take place sooner, so I think this is why all this craziness is going on. Funny, a lot of the side effects that are listed so frequently regarding Clomid, I have not had. No hot/cold flashes, no headaches, no dizziness. Just an emotional mess, I''d say.
9.gif
As for my temps, they''re staying high. Today did go down a little (98.78), but it almost looks like I might be triphasic. Not sure. I''ve had that in one other cycle, and it wasn''t a sign of pregnancy then, so I''m not holding out all my hope on that, either. I do have to admit that of all my friends becoming pregnant recently, my BFF who just told me yesterday is the one I really, really wanted to experience pregnancy with. I mean, it does last 9-10 months, so I''ve got a fair shot at it.

About Clomid lengthening the LP. Well, mine tends to be 14, but has been in the past up to 17. So good grief, can I really expect it to take me to 18 DPO?
23.gif

Tiffany,

Thinking about you, girlie!! Thinking POSITIVE, for sure, for sure!!!
35.gif

*****
Melanie,

Good luck if you test tomorrow! But if you wanna hold out, I totally support that, too. (I can''t go not supporting that, since I like to hold out hope just as long as possible on my cycles!!)
9.gif

*****
Peony,

Glad to know it''s slowly sinking in. I can only imagine the mixture of great excitement and feelings of blessings, with the stress of trying to figure out how you''ll do it all. The thing is, you''ve got lots of time to get prepared and you and your hubby are all filled up with love for the babies already, so you''ll be fine!! The emailing from the kiddos is PRECIOUS! Tell Mr. Peony he is gonna ROCK as a daddy if he keeps sweet things like that up!! (And oooh... if one (or two) of the kiddos is female... he''s gonna be *wrapped* around a finger like crazy, I''m sure!!!
2.gif
)

Sha,

Yeah, Flip doesn''t mind getting dressed up. TaDah! is not a fan. He''ll sometimes humor me for about ten minutes, and then he''ll start in on the rolling on the carpet to wiggle out of it. Needless to say, I have to snap fast or I miss the cuteness!

Okay, I have a habit of searching ebay and craigslist, hoping to find the bedding set that I adore for less than $170 bucks like it is at BRU.

Well, I''ve not found it yet (and if I did, I don''t know that Paul would let me get it prior to actually being pregnant
3.gif
), but look what I did find!! Of course, stock photos, so who knows if it''s a hot mess and severely stained, etc. Do you think it''s "gender neutral, or is it too boyish?

froggyset1.GIF

I don''t know how to put a collage together (anyone care to teach me?), so here''s another with a little more detail:

froggyset3.GIF

I feel like the little dragonflies make it girlie, too
9.gif

(It's listed for $70, which makes me think it's probably nasty gross and dirty)

froggyset2.GIF

So, I asked Paul and he said I could at least ask the seller for "real" pictures. She sent several, right away. The comforter has froggys and snails and ladybugs and dragonflies. Can TOTALLY be for a girl or a boy. And miracle of miracles, it''s all CLEAN!!

I guess today is Jen''s dreaming day, because I''m going to post just one more set. *If* I was pregnant, and *if* I knew I was having a little girl, I would *j*u*m*p* on this like NUTS!! $70, too!

Fishie, my first sign was sore nipples!! I'm thinking good thoughts for you and will be checking in!
9.gif

Hi everyone. Thanks for the well wishes but AFF showed up overnight.
14.gif

Fisher, I love the frogs. They are super cute.

Aww, Tiffany. I''m so angry that that mean period for waiting til late to come. GRRRRR!!

My temps are headed south, too. So maybe we can make a pact to leave all things TTC behind (although not this board, I love my fellow TTCers) next month!!

That''s a bummer Tiffany. My test just turned up negative.

Melanie,

You caved.
23.gif
The good news is that 11 DPO isn''t always a good indicator, though. Kinda early.

9.gif
Not really sore as much as just sensitive. And they poke out all the time, and I''ve *never* had that. It''s so odd looking, can see it through my bras.
7.gif
I''ve been trying to wear slightly padded ones to help with that, though.

Good morning everyone! Tiffany I''m sorry about AF
8.gif
That stinks. Melanie, hopefully you''re still in the running for a positive. Everyone is different as to when a BFP can show. Fisher I too am curious to see if all these symptoms are solely Clomid related, but they seem like something else to me! I''m hoping every good thing for you Fisher!

Sunkist,

Until today, I was hoping the same thing. My temps are headed downward. Eh well. Next month would be fine, too. (Paul''s bday is May 3, so maybe I''d know by then!!! Talk about a birthday surprise!!!) That would be cutting it close, though.... Oh well, whenever it happens we''ll be nuts happy. I don''t even know how I''ll react. It''s like this thing I just dream of, but when it comes, I think I''ll just be dopey for days and days!! Delirious.
9.gif

Your appointment is coming up!! Good Friday, no?

Blushing,

Any confirmed ovulation yet?

You know, any month would be great! I''m sorry the temps are taking you on a roller coaster. I hope it''s over soon. And, yep, appt''s on Good Friday

So I''m hoping all is good!

Does anyone know anything about running while TTC? I just started a very mild program called couch to 5k. Today I ran for 60 seconds, walked for 90 seconds, and so on for 20 minutes. Wondering if I shouldn't have.

So I just watched Baby Mama and started crying at the end. Which is so unlike me. I think I''m in denial about how much I really want a baby, and I was surprised by my own tears. I''m so tired of every month thinking I could be pregnant, changing my life (cutting down on exercise, not dieting or drinking), getting my hopes up and then starting all over again. I can''t honestly imagine really getting pregnant, it seems an impossibility. This is the first month we tried clomid/iui, but we''ve been trying, or at least not "not" trying, for ages. It surprises me sometimes when I think about something that happened last year and realize I was hoping I would get pregnant then. That if I had, I would have had the baby by now. Geez, I can''t even write baby without tearing up.

Started spotting tonight, so I''m probably getting AF on schedule tomorrow. Not that I wasn''t expecting it. Anyway, thanks for the opportunity to vent.
