Congratulations Circe! You also win first prize for mind-bending patience!

LV - hm, sorry about the BFN. But since you don''t know when you O''d it could be too early to test.

Welcome, IWPO and Tulips!

Peony, thank you! It''s great to hear from you...I know the preggoids have been wondering how you''re doing. And us too of course!

LLL - have a great time in Boston! I think the weather here is supposed to be semi-decent this weekend.

Fisher - Have an awesome time camping this weekend!

To everyone I missed,
35.gif
. Don''t bother wondering who my other self is - you won''t recognize me with only 170 posts. I think it''s 171 now.

I feel ever so slightly embarassed now, since I created such a stir (in my own mind!), but AF is now here, so it's a new month for me. The good news is that after this confusion, I am going to become a World-Class-Grade-A Charter from this point forward!! Here's to temping and recording!!!

Sorry you''re out, lulu and LovesVintage

Congrats, circe!! We all knew it!

Don''t be embarrassed, LV - I think it''s, like, a rite of passage to get reaaaaaaaaaaally psyched about potential symptoms when you''re trying. I started a whole separate thread on implantation bleeding when I had "suspicions" a month or two ago (and, man, I was embarrassed, too, though I hope someone else eventually finds the thread useful). It''s a new month - fingers and toes crossed!

LV- sorry to hear you are out this month. Don''t be embarrassed, I feel like I will probably be where you are in a day or two and I''m sure that we all allow ourselves that sliver of excitement when af doesn''t show immediately when we think it will.

Congratulations, Circe! You must be so excited

YAY Circe! Congrats! Your due date must be right around the same time as mine. I''m so excited to have someone to go on this journey with.

Good for you on the patience. I have the patience of a 2 year old so I really admire your ability to hold-off.

Cheers!

Congrats Circe! How exciting!!!

Also, its late but... Congrats to Cello as well!

I''m happy to have some more Jan. due dates to be preggo with

Congrats to CIRCE! This is such a lovely thread. I would like to stick around. Also, I will amend my previous post to say, while we are not ACTIVELY TTC, we are not NOT trying either. Know what i mean? :) But I really have to brush up on all the acronyms here, I think I only understand about 50% of what''s going on. Maybe I''m not so ready after all. Temping? Charting? eek! So, this is only my first cycle after being off the Nuva ring (anyone have experience with that? Any harder or easier to get regular? I know everyone is so different). I''m learning so much here!

Congratulations Circe!

Mini-plea from Pandora, WHERE are all the POAS addicts these days? I despair at my lack of willpower when I see how good and patient you guys are. Someone fess up or I will be selling my shares in FRER...

Oh wow how this thread is picking up again. I am going to really enjoy following all of your journies to mommyhood!

Pandora- I know! There should be much more peeing here, right? Hell, I am TTA and I''m peeing on sticks all the time just for fun!
9.gif
But I do know it can be hard. I am sad every time I have a "scare" and get the (-) so I know the feeling of disappointment, and I can imagine how much more intense it is when you are giving it your all.

Oh yeah, and I know who Festy is! (I''m pretty sure...) Dreamer''s announcement got me on the hunt and it took a lot of searching and thread reading.
34.gif
When I figured it out I was like "HTH did Dreamer figure this out?" I was impressed.

I am still lost on sweetpea, I think when I looked back I had two possibilities and then realized neither was likely. I love fun games like this!

cakeny, I highly recommend "Taking Charge of Your Fertility". Once you read that, you''ll understand about temping and charting! It''s super informative. I had no clue about things until I read that.

So, just realized there aren't any tests in the house. Like NONE. So frustrated. I had my heart set on testing on Mother's Day. Paul says we can go out and get some.... but it's 10pm and I don't want to look or feel like some teenager afraid of an "accident," if you know what I mean. I think we'll just wait and see what tomorrow's temp does and if it's crazy nuts, then we'll run out (and I'll hold my early morning bathroom break) and get a test. I just can't believe all my tests are gone. I feel like maybe when Paul hid them for me before (when I was going nuts over testing) he forgot where he put some of them. Could I have gone through 6 FRERS? No way. No way. Just no way.

Yesterday's temp was the drop from Thursday's temp of 98.79 to 98.42, today's rose up to 98.75. Not the soar I was hoping for (you know, to make it crazy dramatic or something, I don't know), but wonderful none the less.

Hope everyone's in the midst of a wonderful weekend!!

Camping was all kinds of fun. The bed rocks (just need to paint the guest bedroom before we can set it up!) and we went mini-golfing. I love putt-putt!!! Then we hit Ikea (found the cutest boxes for storage). While we were in Ikea, though, I got all kinds of nuts dizzy and just kind of overwhelmed with fatigue. Right now we're saying it was because I needed to eat, but I hope it was because there's a baby implanted in me that's already starting to cause chaos!

To all the recent new cyclers: I''m sorry. Gosh, I''m sorry. I know that frustration, and I''m keeping the hope for *this* cycle to be the last for everyone!!!
9.gif

Paging Fisher...did you go buy more tests? How was your temp this morning? Inquiring minds (read, Pandora) want to know!
31.gif
Glad you had fun camping!

Hey Festy!

Well, I woke up EARLY this morning (like didn''t go back to bed when the alarm went off to temp like I do every other day... I did the same thing yesterday, though...) and like totally *had* to pee. So I did, but went in a cup. Then I went to the store to get some goodies for church (we''re having "Muffins with Mom" today in honor of Mother''s Day), and I tried to get a test there, too. Can you believe they didn''t have FRERS? And can you believe they had them locked off, and no one there had the key? It was 6am... man, I needed a test. I came home, feeling defeated. Paul said we''d get a test tonight so I can test in the morning. I''m good with that.

I also got a Mother''s Day card from my husband, in honor of the mother I''m about to be! It was sweet. Made me cry. All that fun stuff.

So, I''ll be testing soon, but not today.

Today''s temp. was up to 98.88. Still thinking good thoughts (my baby''s 3 weeks and 4 days old today!!!)

Gack! How excruciating! I am also very impressed that you were able to PIAC first thing in the morning when you were desperate to go! Happy Mother''s Day!

Mia I am guessing you figured it out in a different way that I did? Hard to imagine too oddballs stumbling onto the same thing! Basically, there was something unique in festy''s posts that caught my eye and I was like hmmmmm..... I wonder if that will identify her? And it did
9.gif

I usually only lurk here but I just have to post to say I am so excited for you Fisher! I really hope this time is it for you.
36.gif

Thanks so much for all of your congratulations!

Cellosweet, I just went back and re-read your old posts - congratulations to you! It will definitely be fun to have someone to talk to going through all of this. Do you know when your estimated due date is? According to the (reliable? unreliable? I don''t know!) online calculater, mon bebe should be born during the first week of January.

Fisher, the story is pretty straightforward, i.e., v. us - my husband usually knows my cycles better than I do, so he knew I was late right off the bat. He knew I''d be testing the first day he was home, but not when ... so, first thing that morning, puttering around, he asked, "So, how are you this fine morning?" and I said "Pregnant!" and that was that.
41.gif

Since then, I think I''ve had my first bought of morning sickness (well, that or some *really* bad Mexican food), which led to the cancellation of our plans to go to a comedy club with friends, which led to ... awkwardness ... in the lobby of a completely random ritzy hotel, and the following exchange with my husband:

Me: Oh, and today we should go to the flea-market.
Him: [makes face]
Me: What? We did your thing yesterday!
Him: No we didn''t! We did not end up at the comedy club!
Me: That was because I had MORNING SICKNESS. If on the way to the flea-market, *you* have morning sickness, I promise we''ll turn around and come right back home.
Him: ... this seems kind of imabalanced.
Me: No, you know what''s imbalanced? Me spending nine months horking and abstaining from the better things in life while you prance merrily through the flowers only to have equal shares in the kid''s love at the end of the day!
Him: .... Well played, sir. Well played.

So now we''re going to the flea-market. :)

Fisher, dust, dust, dust for when you test!

Circe - Hilarious!

DD - I''m unique! You should be an observer of human behavior or something...
