AND.. happy birthday to me, ultrasound looked wonderful this morning! The baby is measuring right on track for 7 weeks today with a due date of December 3. And we saw the amazing flickering little heart beat, 135 bpm...

30.gif

My hubby was so excited and sweet. I''m sure this makes it so much more real for him since he is not dealing with constant nausea like me

Noel, how exciting! I was so happy to read your post this morning!!!! I can''t wait to share your pregnancy with you!

Lynnie: Oh my WORD! Congratulations! How are you holding out from DH? How''s the treasure hunt going?

noelwr: What an awesome trinket to bring home from your vacation! Congratulations!

I am SUPER excited for both of yall!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

*
Krissie: How''s the 2ww patience going for you?

dcgator: That would be a bit crowded with a dog... 2ww here we are.

sweetlime: Best of luck with clomid.

HOU: New Year''s Eve and 2011 baby, here we come. Thanks for thinking of Mom. And, I LOVE Bluebell icecream. I can only get it when I visit family in Louisiana.

LV: You may be away, but we''re thinking of you.

Steal: There is no such thing as TMI on here.

CDNinNYC: Good for you, to chart in advance.

CatLuver: Patience is the name of the game for you right now...good luck!

icekid: So glad the ultrasound went well. YAY!

_________
So I totally need to hold DH''s baby book while going on vacation. That should knock me up!
My chart...it''s totally lame without temps. But I started charting April 8 (and added back dates of BD). Can anyone explain the abundance of EWCM I had yesterday? It was more than the first time. It totally wasn''t leftover manjuice, FWIW. My cycles average 32 days, but the last three have been 30 days, and so my estimated O date was between CD17 & CD19. Thoughts?

I am stuck in a hotel in Detroit due to the volcanic ash cloud over Europe. Congratulations Laila, Lanie and Lynnie!

had a lovely time cruising the Caribbean and brought you ladies back something:

a BFP !!!!!!!!!!!

at 11 dpo and still going strong today at 17 dpo

(Lanie - from cycle twins to preggo buddies! )
OOOOOMG, CONGRATS Noel! That is AWESOME!

Congratulations to you and Mr. Noel! I wish you a very happy and healthy 8.5 months!

So, with your vacation BFP, you are now the 5th TTC lady to have a BFP this month. Crazy! We have now matched our record month earlier this year. Only one more BFP and we are going to set a new record. Houie, I am feeling you might be the one to break the record!

Noel, sorry that you are stuck in Detroit, but hopefully you should be able to get home tonight, since that volcano stuff is supposed to pass today. We look forward to hearing the story of how you told DH when you get back
9.gif

Yay Icekid!!! So happy to hear the strong heartbeat, and more importantly, that you could hear it!!! I told my DH yesterday after my appointment that we'd have to go back in in 2 weeks to hear the heartbeat. He was so amazed. I can't wait! At this point they do ultrasounds externally right? I've only had the dildo cam ones, but I'm assuming they are like the ones you see on TV!

Plantationcatt -- I had EWCM after ovulation too. Not saying anything but....
31.gif
Where in LA is your family? The first time I saw your name I remember thinkin "I wonder if she's from Louisiana" bc of all the plantations there.

Catluver -- like someone else said...it's not over til AF. Hope she doesn't come!

Bella -- I didn't know about a UTI test?!? That's pretty cool! UTI's are horrible. I would get it taken care of, if nothing else so that you can BD without pain. I have read something about women taking antibiotics to clear up infections and then getting pregnant, bc that was hindering them in the first place, unknowingly. I think either Fisher put an article up here or someone else did about this RE who found that simple, treatable infections are often a cause of infertility.

Mine have been transvaginal- or internal with the dildocam. They prefer to do the TV ultrasounds at this point because it is much easier to see what they need to see, and in much more detail and more accurately.
However- it still is pretty cool, because everything is right there, and it looks the same as it would on TV!

Hey Ladies,

What another exciting day in the TTC neighbohood! Congrats again to Noel and looking forward to finishing the month strong!

Krissie: Yeah for a confirmed O and yippee for being in the 2WW! You are right behind me, but you could totally get into the super charged BFP''s of April
9.gif

Houie: That mini-vaca sounds great (and really relaxing). I''m sure it will make your wait a bit more tolerable
2.gif
. I hope you really enjoy the ice cream and wildflowers
9.gif
. I am flying home for my 10 year HS reunion...that should be interesting
25.gif
. As for FF, she can get pretty sensitive about O dates. My first cycle tracking it changed my O date 4 times. Ugh. But, I think are good now. A CD17 O date sounds just right. As for the show, I''m sorry about the sad feelings, but keep thinking your happy thoughts and maybe you will get a wonderful surprise
9.gif
Good luck with testing on Sunday or Monday! Sticky dust for you
2.gif

Bella: That is quite the POAS array you had going there, lol. Is it bad that I think that sounds like fun, lol. I hope that you don''t have a UTI and you are able to enjoy your impending BD''ing marathon!

Catluver: Sorry to hear about the BFN, but if you continue not to get AF, I would try again. As for the OB, that is not cool that she wants you to just roll the dice and supports being uniformed about your cycle.
38.gif
Granted, I know that stressing about it doesn''t help conception, but really, just BD''ing at a random interval for no reason doesn''t make much sense. I would say that if you are not in love with that OB, it might be time to change doc''s...As for me, yeah, we caved and are officially trying this cycle. After 3 patient months of just learning my cycle, I couldn''t help but be impatient and I took the plunge this past cycle
12.gif

Lynnie: Thanks for the happy thoughts! So, are you all set for your big scavenger hunt for your DH tonight. I bet you are just jumping out of your skin to tell him!

Icekid: Happy birthday to you!
35.gif
I am so happy to hear that everything went well with your US this morning. I was thinking about you and your little bean and I''m so glad s/he is doing well!
9.gif
What could be a better b-day present? I H&H 7 months +!

Plantationcatt: Yep, that would be crowded indeed. How is your little pup doing? Indeed, I am into the 2WW, 6DPO for me
1.gif
. Crossing my fingers! As for your chart, what CD are you. I can''t really tell from there. As for EWCM, mine is all accross the board, so I can''t really help you there. I do know that sometimes it happens after O, so it shouldn''t be that big of a concern. Good luck to you this cycle!

Lanie: How are you feeling hun? That is so exciting about the US in 2 weeks. I''m sure you and your DH will
30.gif
seeing your LO. Btw, I like the new signature
2.gif

****
As for me, I am hanging in there at 6DPO. I am going to try to post my chart below. It looks like I had a slight temp drop yesterday, so that sounds good. Otherwise, my temps are heading back up. Fingers crossed. I am heading down to good ole SoFla today for my 10 Yr HS reunion. It should be very interesting...But, at least that will keep my head off the 2WW. Either way, I am hoping to hold on till Monday to test. We''ll see how long I can hold out though
2.gif
.

I hope you ladies have a great weekend!

FF cycle 4.jpg

Whoa I missed alot!

Congrats Lanie, Lynnie, and Laila!!

Noel!! Aren''t those Carribean BFP''s GREAT????? All the more reason to go back again someday
31.gif
Congrats!!!!

Congratulations, Lynnie! How amazing!!!

dcgator, that chart is looking great! I envy you ladies with shorter cycles. I''m currently on CD7 and have roughly another 2 wks to wait before Oing.
14.gif

I am just a lurker so far.... not planning to TTC for maybe 6-12 months... but as a Family Medicine resident every baby I deliver or see in clinic makes me want one even more!!!

Anyway, I remember watching many of you on the ring/bridal/wedding threads and it is so exciting to see the move to this amazing stage!

Congrats to all the BFP''s!

36.gif
Congratulations, Noel! So happy for you!! I had a feeling you'd be back with wonderful news!

Glad to see the April streak is continuing! And, it's only mid-month!!

Hi PlantationCatt - Are you sure the EWCM was the same consistency? Might it have been slightly different? Do you have TCOYF? I think there's a thorough description of EWCM quality in there. Sorry, that's the only explanation I can come up with.

DCG - Your chart looks perfect! Have a great weekend and hoping for some good news from you soon!

CONGRATS Noel! So glad you had such good news to report upon your return. How are you feeling?

Icekid - congratulations on hearing the heartbeat - it must make it feel very real!

DCgator - good to hear from you. I have my 10 year HS reunion next year... I already have mixed feelings about it. How about you? Excited? Nervous? Any feelings related to TTC?

LV - hi lady... how is your imposed break going?

Lanie - love to see your signature message change :)

Hi RyanClaire - The imposed break is going really well. I really needed this time to re-group, though still hoping for a miracle this month! Acupuncture is GREAT. I get so deeply relaxed every time I am there. We had a long talk last week, and she wants me to meditate 30 mins per day. She had apparently noted what a wreck I was the day I came in when I was like 9 or 10 DPIUI!! The meditation is helping a lot, I think, though I am closer to 15 mins every other day. I ordered a yoga dvd for my neck and shoulders, where I carry all of my stress and want to get some guided meditation cds to help me meditate longer. My mind wanders without the assistance. I had actually gone to a hypnotherapist years ago, and we made same meditation tapes while I was there. Hypnotherapy is basically guided meditation. LOVED IT. I've thought about going back, but I think I am ok with the tapes for now.

My acupuncturist also gave me some Chinese herbs from China, prepackaged, different from the herbs she previously prescribed, which came from a lab in Ithaca. They are in a red box and say "Infertility Herbs" on the box. I was like:
32.gif
. I have no problem taking herbs, so long as they are made in the good ol' USA. I didn't inspect further, but unless they have a big recognizable company name, I am not taking them. She understood my concern, somewhat, and said it was ok if I did not want them, to think about it and bring them back next time. I hope that doesn't make me seem unreasonable - I'm just very cautious, I guess.

How are you doing? How is the acupuncture going? Are you temping too? Any sign of ovulation? I know it will take some time for things to be regulated by the acupuncuture. Curious how you are doing, though!

Noelwr
Oh wow....congrats!
Lots of sticky dust to you.
It''s reassuring when I see that you ladies who went through a m/c get BFP so quickly.

Bella - yeah, go get that ?UTI checked out. Easy to fix, and who knows how it may affect your ability to get preggo!! Good luck in your upcoming BD marathon!!
9.gif

CatLuver - sorry to hear about impending AF. And you know what I say? I say chart if you wanna!!! LOL! It''s not her body, it''s yours, and you get to decide what to do with it! I''m with you, I get obsessed about accomplishing things once I''ve decided to try to accomplish them....I don''t think I could relax and stop charting right now. My wacky therm is the Walgreen''s one, too! I wonder why they do that?!

Lynnie - my positive FRER''s stayed positive forever...try those for a keepsake! :)

IceKid - happy birthday, mama!! Sooo glad to hear your U/S went well!! Now you can sigh a sigh of relief and settle in for the long haul.
9.gif
Woohoooo!!

Plantation - I''d love to send you some BlueBell if it wouldn''t melt in transit!! hehe!

DC - my 10 year HS grad is this year too! Although I haven''t heard anything about a reunion...I''m from a really small town (1300 people total!) so I won''t be surprised if no one gets it together to have one. hehe. Have fun at yours, though!! Thank you for the dust!! Oh, and your chart is looking goooood!!! Love those rising temps!!
30.gif

LV - glad your break is going well! Good to hear from you! :)

----------------------------------------------

OK, we''re about to leave on our getaway, so just wanted to say hi before we go! Hoping to have some good news to share when I get back!

Here''s my chart with today''s temp added...still around the same as yesterday''s, so that''s good! Hope it stays high!!

7dpo.png

LV, yes, I am stalking your progress... Your gut is right, don''t take it. While herbs here aren''t very well monitored, there, even less so. Even my accu guy here in the people''s republic of cambridge told me to not get herb treatments when I travel in China (I get massages constantly there, so very cheap and excellent). Esp now...your gut is right. Even if there is no contamination, who knows what happened to it on the journey here in terms of temp/moisture control.

Good luck with your break, just saw your post and had to chime in.
35.gif

Hey Swimmer!!
35.gif

Thanks for the reassurance! They are going back, for sure! I didn''t know you went to acupuncture. Have you continued to go during your pregnancy? Cheap massages sure would be nice. I am in love with the Guasha (scraping) and have that done at the end of every visit. How are you doing, btw? I will check the pregnancy thread, but I don''t think you post there too often.

Thanks for checking in on me! You''re the best!

Ahhh, HMG, your chart looks fabulous. Enjoy your weekend away! Come back with great news, the trips seem to be working for all the traveling TTC-ers here!

Didn''t know you like the guasha.
Is that suppose to help w/ fertility?
Did you know that that''s an ancient remedy for when you have a cold or fever?
I hated it when my grandma would scrape my back.....especially when it went across the shoulder blade.

Hi Lili,

I don't think it is necessarily supposed to help with fertility. She said something about it helping to clear up any toxins built-up under the skin. I don't know much about that, but it feels so good, especially on my neck and shoulders. I feel like it really breaks up any tension!! Once she did it very hard, and during the next week, I felt burning in my neck/shoulders. She thinks she did it too hard and that I do not have a tolerance built up. She has her assistant do her shoulders, and she said her back is all black and blue because she does it so hard!

Anyway, I don't think it is directed to my ferility, but more to my overall well-being and to help bring my body back into balance. Oh, and she thinks it's funny, how much I look forward to it!

I did read at some point that it is a remedy for cold and fever. See, you were lucky to have your grandma scraping you!

I just can''t believe how much this thread is hopping! My new job is keeping me super busy, but I try to check-in during the day even if I don''t post.

So, I took 2 more UTI tests (they are by Azo if anyone was curious) and they came back negative. So, since the Dr. can''t fit me in until Monday I''m just mainlining cranberry pills and drinking tons of water.

So, if it doesn''t hurt we''ll try to keep up with our planned BDing marathon next week. If I have any peeing pain on Monday I''ll try to get in to see my Dr.

HUGS to everyone who is in the early part of their cycles and fingers crossed for the 2ww ladies. We''re only halfway through the month. Yay for all the new "tax deductions"
2.gif

I am in Miami now. they can''t fly us back til Wed (weather permitting) so they sent us back to Florida to enjoy the sun. glad we didn''t have to stick around in Detroit. DH said I should ask around on the forum if one of you ladies wanted to adopt us in the time being.
3.gif
I can''t cook nor clean, but I can knit really cute baby clothes in return... hahaha.

April isn''t over, and I had a good feeling about this month, so still keep fingers crossed for the rest of you.

Dc--I meant to tell you that your chart looks really good! Can''t wait for Monday for your test!

LV--glad you are feeling good this cycle. Scraping doesn''t sound pleasant to me at all! Is it like an intense back scratch?

Oh Noelwr-Glad you get to get some sun (and HUGE CONGRATS AGAIN ON THE BFP
3.gif

) Wish I was in FL b/c you could totally stay with me
2.gif

LV, thank you! I am hopeful the good chart means something!!

Bella, that''s right, flush any bacteria outta there!! Good luck, I hope the cranberry and hydration does the trick!!

Noel, would love to adopt you if I was in FL!! :) At least you get to enjoy a little more sunshine before going home! How are you feeling so far??

--------------------------------------------------------

We''re back from our mini-getaway! It was only for one night since I''m on call starting tomorrow morning.

14.gif
But we had a lovely time!!

No BFP yet, but it''s only 8dpo. My temp, however, DID shoot up this morning.

36.gif
I''ve been feeling a little crampy/twingey down low since earlier this afternoon...would be AWESOME if these were implantation pains again! 8dpo is when I had them last time....i hope i hope i hope!

Also, this is kinda weird, but there''s something else I noticed early on last time that I''m noticing now....sorry if TMI! LOL!......but the little bumps on my areolae (Montgomery Glands) are more prominent. Or maybe they''re there off and on all the time and I just notice them because I''m looking..I dunno.

9.gif
Of course I''m obsessively observant of every little thing that seems different right now!!!

I''ve got my fingers, toes, eyes, etc. crossed....I will be sooooo happy if this is it.

Also, I''ve got a really good feeling that we haven''t seen all the BFP''s this month...I''m thinking 2 or 3 more!!
9.gif
DUST ALL AROUND!!!!!!!!!!
