Gah! I read all your posts on my way home, so of course I got tempted and stopped into the local CVS. This time, instead of a digi, I bought the First Response Tests. I just poas. There was the faintest 2nd line AGAIN but I wasn''t 100 sure, AGAIN. So, I did what any sane person would do and took the stick apart. This is what I saw.

Anyone know if taking a test apart affects the results?
40.gif
The line seems more obvious since I did so but maybe I didn''t give it enough time. If these lines keep up the way they''ve been showing I WILL have to wait until June 20th to tell DH in order to get a true 2nd line.

LOL....that''s the first dismantled pregnancy test I''ve seen.
Did you try first morning pee?

Nope.

I tried early evening pee. I''ll try again in the morning.

Dang these pee-on-a-sticks! I told myself on my way home I would wait until tomorrow but apparently I can''t have them in the house; all I wanna do is pee on them!

I definitely see a second line!

I think that I also see a second line. But I''d also use FMU tomorrow and see what happens. How many DPO are you now? Sorry I can''t remember. Good luck!

Ohhhh CDN, that''s totally a second line...I vote BFP!!! :) :) :) I''m gonna go ahead and say congratulations, mama!!! I would be really surprised if you don''t get a darker line tomorrow!!! I''m so happy for you!!!

Still lurking regularly and cheering all you ladies on...and excited to get as many of you as possible over to the early preggo thread with us!!

That is what my second line looked like the morning I got my "pregnant" on the digi! Yay for BFP!

I see a second line. Generally I think peeonastick says you shouldn''t try to read a dismantled test.

I bet you get a clear BFP tomorrow....

But I do see a second line. Good luck testing today; it would be wonderful for you to get a dark BFP!

Update: AF came early and I am now CD 4. With my periods normally lasting 5-7 days and always having horrendous cramps... I actually cannot remember ever having NO CRAMPS... I am little weirded out with this period. I don't know if "weirded out" is the correct terminology but anyway... It all started last weekend with very bad sore boobs. They hurt so bad that I actually asked DH if he could try to massage them. Well that didn't go well b/c I actually was tearing up they hurt SO BAD just by him touching them. So then my period comes the day after CD26. Not completely super early but I'm an average 28-29 cycler. And get this, NO CRAMPS WHAT-SO-EVER. WTF?! That really shocks me. So anyway, yesterday came and I was just spotting and today, nothing so far. My boobs don't hurt anymore though, thank goodness! Maybe it's just stress... idk, but I am loving the no cramps!!

I wish all you lovely ladies luck! I wish I could be around more but that won't happen until after June 26th... We're getting married... AGAIN! hahah. (Quickie marriage in October and now we're doing the big thing for our families.)
9.gif

IHA-I would take a test again just to be sure...that sounds like a really odd period, and a fair number of people have some bleeding their first few months when they are actually PG...

I was reading via my iphone and saw the line. I''m now on my pc at home and can still see the line.

It''s a line..........ergo a BFP.

I''ll refrain from sending in the big guns, my wee dust fairy, until you are satisfied with your line and come back screaming its a BFP!!

Hi ladies! I want to catch up with you all later but right now I maaaaybe have some news...

I might go get a FRER or a digi because my sticks are not the famous Wondfo ones but other cheapies and might not be that sensitive.

The top one is from yesterday at 12DPO and the bottom one is today at 13DPO. I don''t know if you can see it, but there''s a very very faint line on yesterday''s that I didn''t see until yesterday night (I took the test in the morning).

I''m cautiously excited, but even in the worst case scenario, at least now I know I have eggs, DH''s swimmers are alive and at least 1 of my tubes works!

I ovulated curiously late, 3 days later than usual for some reason.

IMG00290-20100612-0942.jpg

I have to add...DH is a little worried because of the late ovulation (for me) and the weird OPKs - instead of having one positive OPK and then elevated temps starting two mornings after that, I had 3 positives and an iffy quasi-positive even on the day my temp went up (then I stopped testing bc I wanted to save my tests). So here''s hoping it''s not a messed up eggie!!

AHHHH so much excitement in this thread!!!

Catluver CONGRATS!!! I see 2 gorgeous lines on both tests!!!!!!! I wouldnt worry too much about the eggie, clearly it knows what to do!

CDN, hows this AM go?????

IHA, I would test again FOR SURE. Keep us posted!

Bella & Miscka, I haven''t tested at all. My boobs no longer hurt. Would that be normal if I were pregnant? I still have not had any spotting or anything what-so-ever today. I think it''s gone. I also forgot to add that you know how at the end of your period you get the brown stuff? (old blood)... Well, that''s how my period began and that''s what first made me go hmm?? That''s never happened to me before a period, always after.

I honestly don''t think I am pregnant, I don''t "feel" pregnant. But then again, not every woman just has a feeling when they are pregnant. I don''t know. I guess I should test to be sure.

Good luck CatLuver and CDNinNYC!

Oooh, things are getting exciting around here!!! CatLuver, I''m thinking that''s definitely a BFP!!!

I love that I have nothing to add to this thread yet except to confirm if I see a second line or not! Which by the way, I definitely definitely see a second line! Congrats!

Good afternoon ladies!

Sorry for the longish absence. DH and I had some errands to run today and I just got in. Poor guy is now at work.

Anywho, I did poas this morning and it's (FINALLY) an obvious BFP! Thanks so much for all your handholding these last few days.

Catlover, yay! I see a second line too! You and I are on an almost identical cycle (I think you started May 15th while mine was May 14th) with the same DPO date (13 DPO today). Here's hoping for sticky beans and being preggo twins!

I'd like to respond individually to everyone but I gotta run right now. Promise to be back shortly!

Hope you're all having a fabulous Saturday.

PS... Haven't told DH yet. Have something planned.

I am so happy for you. Awh, congratulations.

I can''t wait to hear how you told your husband, he will be delighted.

***Sticky sticky sticky thoughts for your little one***

I hate myself for asking this question but after asking Dr. Google I am none the wiser...

I am either CD11, if we are counting 3 days of spotting or CD8 if we are not and have been having EWCM for at least 4 days with all signs pointing to ovulation except the dratted OPK's and so we have been very busy.

Since late yesterday I have felt the weirdest sensation in I imagine what is my uterus; we have never formally been introduced so I am not sure. It is as low as can be and in general period crampy pain area. It is exactly like an eye twitch or a bit like when your tummy grumbles but super low. It is really strange and nothing I have felt before lasting for about 3 seconds. But considering the OPK's say I haven't even surged yet what the heck it that? I can't imagine it is any kind of good news it is far too early but it sure is strange.

I have experienced ovulation pain, and from time to time this has coincided with the OPK's so I am sure it is not that.

Any thoughts?

ETA and TMI: I suppose it could be big O aftershocks if you get me, but I don't think it is. Pretty sure in fact.
