Thanks Random. I know I'm not out until AF shows, but I think that advice is for people who don't track their temps.

I see some sort of shadowy line when I zoom in, but I can't tell what it is. Maybe use a FRER with FMU tomorrow?

You know, if it weren't for the plummeting temps, I'd swear I was pregnant. My sense of smell has been crazy, I've had wicked heartburn, and today, out of all things, I chose a tuna sandwich. I never eat tuna and the last time I craved it was when I was pregnant with B. I'm glad I temp because I'd be in a for a huge letdown otherwise.

Sorry 'bout the temp drop, AMC. That's the good and bad thing about temping, though- maybe it dulls the disappointment a bit? Will you keep temping or are you done for this cycle?

RT... Ohhh AFFFFF... come out, come out, wherever you are... Or else the BFPs need to start a comin'. The Walmart .88 drove me bonkers. I'd always see something for the first minute, then it'd fade, then i'd see a shadow after the test dried. They're a steal, but not worth my sanity. Do you have a FRER on hand?

LC- updates? Sorry I'm a testing enabler. Hope tomorrow's temp stays up-up-up. Thinking of you!

Shertz:Glad AF showed- sorry there's no answer as to why the delay was there. Good luck fidning a better OB- what happened that has turned you off of yours? So, so important to have a good working relationship with one's ob/gyn- I feel like those specialists out of so many others need to have great bedside manner.

No AF today. Still crampy, cervix is doing weird things. Very firm today, very high. I guess there's a chance I'm CD nine (still) and that AF may show tomorrow. I feel like I'm perpetually on CD 9 waiting for AF to come on CD 10 :rolleyes:

On another annoying and repetitive note: I suck at having tests in my possession. I'm so embarrassed by how many I use, that I actually hide them from DH. I first bought a 3-pack of FRERs and FIVE .88 from Walmart- FIVE. Then when those ran out I got a FRER 2-pack. Then I waited a few days and got a generic blue dye 2-pack and a single Answer. Blew through those in 24 hours (really, Rachael?), and tonight after Zumba class I stopped at the drug store to buy bread and a sippy cup, and another FRER 2-pack happened into my cart. I know we joke about testing all the time, but I swear it's just this compulsion or ritual for me now. I'm really NOT doing it next month. No way, no how. So much money and, frankly, I'm embarrassed. The worst part is I used all of those (minus the 2 pack I just bought) IN ONE WEEK. ...What? How?! Those would last most sane women YEARS AND YEAR AND YEARS.

PPM, I was exactly like that a couple of months ago on our "oops" cycle. After that, DH and I discussed it and decided that it just increased our anxiety and probably worsened the disappointment when it eventually became apparent that they really were all BFNs. Resolution for the next cycle was not to test until AF was due (or roughly) and the only way that I managed to hold out was that we were out of town and out of our normal routine and environment. Of course, when we got home, I tested within an hour, but at least by then I was 11-12DPO.

PPM, oh hugs dear and know that you're not the only one. If nature just gave us an open book out our fertility cycles then all of this would be much easier, wouldn't it? I haven't tested again since last night. Mainly because I *know* I don't handle the negative test results well (this was from OPKs, so I don't even want to try HPTs), so I'm just going to wait for either Friday night or Saturday morning. I don't have any FRERs, just Wondofos. But I guess I need to go to the store at some point soon, so I'll pick up some FRERs.

AMC, Hm, sounds very optimistic in terms of your symptoms, despite the low temps. Have you decided when you'll finally test again? Saturday pact with me and PPM???

So till then I'm just settling on temps. Last tiem I didn't test until 2 days after AF was due. I'm not sure I can hold out that long. I'm just goign to wait for 12DPO and hope that's long enough. On other news, I just booked tix for DEN to visit friends and hopefully go skiing. In some ways I hope we're successful this round, in others I hope we're not since I really would love to go skiing again. I haven't in like 3 yrs.
 
LC- I'm going to Utah next month to visit friends and they want to ski. I haven't been since I was pregnant with B and I'm itching to go. I did a lot of research (googling) and it seems most doctors are okay with it as long as you are in the first trimester. Not sure how I feel about it though.

And yes, I will test on Saturday if AF isn't here and my temps are still above my cover line. Honestly, though, I'm expecting that to happen tomorrow.

I'm on mobile so I can't scroll back to see who it was who asked about temping. I usually temp until AF shows, then take a break until cd7 or so. I'm not sure if I will take a break though because I'm finally back in the temping habit and it was hard to get back into it!

Amc, ditto on finally getting back in the habit of temping. The Denver trip I just booked is going to be the cusp of 1 st and 2 ng assuming I get pregnant this cycle. So wiser heads would err on the side of caution. Sigh... I really miss skiing
Temp still up this morning, good sign. still planning on waiting till tomorrow so will try to hold out. I only have wondofos at home so that's in my favor for a Saturday test

I am pretty sure I see a faint pink line in that first pic. Is it there in real life??

My temp went down again this morning but is still above my cover line. Still, I think AF will be here tomorrow. My temps were odd this cycle. Usually I have a big rise when I O and a big crash before AF, but both were gradual this cycle.

RT, Confusing! Maybe you O'd later than you initially thought. From your FF chart you didn't temp consistently during this cycle. Did you use OPKs to pinpoint O? Well, I hope AF stays away... for 9 months, LOL ;)

AMC, weird your temps are so different than your previous cycles. Anything different this cycle? E.g. gave up cafeffine, B's sleeping better, etc? I forgot to ask, where are you going skiing next month?

Trying to distract myself from thinking about testing....

Nothing that I can think of, I think it was just random. One thing I am going to do next cycle though is more cardio. When I got pregnant with B I was doing a ton of cardio. Right now, I meet with a trainer twice a week but that's mainly strength training with some cardio mixed in. Not sure if there's anything to it but really I need to be doing it anyway. I'm going to Utah. Funny, I live 30 minutes from Tahoe and haven't been skiing in two years.

AMC, Oooh I *love* UT skiing. The snow is so good up there and the mountains are so much fun! We usually hit the Little Cottonwood Canyon mtns, Brighton/Solutitude, Snowbird/Alta. More cardio sounds great. I have been pretty piss poor about going to the gym, but am still biking to and from work most days. So in my head that's a (very little) bit of cardio for me. Yesterday I hit the gym though. I want to try to do it more often, goal is 2x's a week, ideal would be 3 or 4.

Still no AF yet. And I'm not going to test tonight. DH and I are going to have pizza and booze for dinner so I don't want to feel guilty for drinking wine. (Clearly I have my priorities!)

So do I. It is so light and fluffy since all of the wet stuff is dropped here before moving on to UT. But we've had no snow in well over a month so things are dry. And I'm a total snow snob. I don't do ice and I won't risk my skis on inadequate coverage.

Good luck tomorrow! I'm excited for you and Random. Random, I really think you have an early BFP on your hands.

I just looked up the birthstone for October and it is opal and tourmaline. Both are lovely so I'm okay with that :)

Aw, tourmaline? I already have a tourmaline stone (rubylite ring), so does this mean I can't get another? Or does this mean I get to convert it to earrings? I'm thinking the latter, LOL :devil:

I just got a faint line on a FRER... I tested because my bleeding is consistent but not heavy. Pardon my language, but mother ducking low progesterone :(sad I feel so sad. Gosh.

Ok...I'm going to tell this story as tactfully as possible.

First off, I'll state that I have every other friday off so I get 2 3day weekends each month (actually this one is a 4 day) because I work 1 week for 9 hours and 1 day for 8 hours and the next week I work 4 days for 9 hours then I get the 10th day off. Anyways, I just wanted to explain why I'm taking 4 hour naps in the middle of the day.

I took a shower and then was like, well screw it, I'm gonna take a nap! So I did, for four hours. This was the dream I had.

I dreamt that I won the lottery and I used my winnings to create a startup called (and I don't know if I can say this on PS so please tell me if it's not ok) The Undercover Slut Detective. I worked for the producers of the bachelor and I worked to find girls who still had boyfriends but were still accepted on the show. At one point, I was in Africa and I used a zipline to steal a pair of thong underwear from one of the girl's lovers to use as evidence *facepalm*.

Once I woke up, my immediate first thought was, what in the he!! was that?? Then my next immediate thought was, I better pee on something!

So I did.

Got a faint pink line.

Have NO CAMERA!!! :errrr:

And....so now I'm gonna eat a brownie and then start the search for a camera again.
