The Official TTC Thread!

LL-I''m thinking about you. Tons of sticky vibes, hugs, and support.

Awe, Lysser, hang in there. Sending sticky dust your way!

Lysser - I want to stop the world and make your bean stick. I wish I could. Thinking of you.

LL - thinking of you and hoping as hard as I can for good news for you today.

Thanks for the good vibes guys! I''m back from the doc - they did an ultrasound and we saw the heartbeat! Everything is where it should be.

So it appears the bean may be sticking - at least for now!

Your support means so so much to me - I can''t even put into words.

I am running around like crazy today, but I''ll be back with more later!

Thanks guys.

That''s great!!

Hey everyone!

Well, I've calmed down pretty decently today and I'm feeling a bit more optimistic. Still don't know why I was cramping and spotting, but hey, it got me the u/s and got us to see the HB. They told us not to expect to see anything at the US - just wanted to make sure the pregnancy wasn't ectopic, etc. And sure enough, we saw the HB. DH saw it on the US right away. I didn't see it until the tech pointed it out! Heart is beating 102 beats/minute. Sac measured the right size. So yeah, I'm more optimistic. And I've got an appointment with a therapist to help me deal with my nutso anxiety. So hopefully things will continue moving in a good way!

Amber, Steph, Peony, Sunkist, Fisher, LuLu, Sha, Robbie, BB, Tiffany, Sabine, Festy, Chinacat, IceKid - I really and truly don't think I can possibly tell you how much your words, both yesterday and today, have meant. You are such a wonderful group of women. (I'm totally teary here).

Just thank you.

Oh, and Peony, I'm 5w4d today! Which is why the the docs thought it might be too early to see the HB or anything, really.

LL,

Things work out in funny ways. Maybe the spotting came to give you reason to see that heartbeat all the earlier, and bring more peace. Who knows. I'm just so very happy for you and your hubby. You'll continue to be in my prayers, along with that little hearbeating baby!!

Also, can anyone teach me how to change my little avatar picture? I don't want to have a santa hat forever. Thanks in advance.

That's what we're here for, littelysser! To support each other during this wild and crazy ride of TTC and pg!!

They're so many emotions involved in the process, huh? - so many ups and downs. Today is a good example for me. I had ovulation spotting yesterday, on CD17, and a temp spike today - 97.90, so I realized I probably ovulated yesterday. I was happy this morning when I saw the temp

, but then immediately sad
7.gif
because I know we didn't get in any BD on the day of O or the day before O. We only Bd'd four days before and two days before O this cycle. Then I started feeling immediately resentful at DH for being tired yesterday (O day).
38.gif
I was trying to shake the feeling as I got ready for work but am still feeling a bit down in the dumps about my chances of pg this month.
8.gif
Ahhh..... talk about a rollercoaster ride of emotions.

On a more positive note...for those who were wondering about Clomid etc, I was pretty pleased at how I responded to it this cycle. Was apprehensive about side effects but didn't experience any. Was also apprehensive about losing fertile cm, but I had ewcm for 2-3 days leading up to O. Was also wondering when I would ovulate - and very pleased to have probably ovulated on CD17, which is quite a bit earlier than I usually do. Yay!!!
1.gif
Not sure that the early O will be for anything, though......

Anybody testing soon?

Sha, I''m glad you''re having a good experience with Clomid so far and that you had a nice, clear ovulation. I know the feeling when you feel like your BD wasn''t well timed. It can be stressful. Crazier things have happened than someone getting KTFU with your BD pattern, though, so you never know!

Lysser, I wish I could hug you, my friend! It feels good to know that our words help a little bit.

***************
CD 12 today. Had to resist the urge to BD last night on CD 11 since I''ve never O''d earlier than day 13. If only BDing 5 days in a row were possible for us! In general I''m obsessing less though and that is a very good thing.

Sunkist, thanks! I was totally in love with my dress!

Sha, I got knocked up when we only did it 2 days before O, so there is still hope!

Everyone else, continued good luck!

Thanks for giving me some hope, guys.
1.gif
But Sabine, you''re a young''un aren''t you?
2.gif
25/26? I feel that if I were younger I would have a chance at getting KU with Bd only 2 days before O, but at 32 years old I''m not sure...
40.gif
We''ll see!

By the way, has anyone heard from Independent Gal? I miss her voice around here. I guess she''s taking a break to recover from her recent losses...
8.gif

Sha- I was just thinking about IndyGal today too. Haven''t seen her around. I am sure she''ll be back, she''s a fighter. Oh, and I wouldn''t worry so much about being 32. Even though I don''t know exactly when I O''d, there''s a pretty good chance it wasn''t on my O day since we didn''t really do it enough around that time and I am 34, almost 35. You never know!

Have any of you had a problem with CM? I''ve been charting temps for 2 months now and would like to track CM as well, but I feel like I hardly have any. Sorry if this is TMI or too personal, but have any of you had this experience? This is the 4th month I have been off BC pills and we''d like to start trying next month. I am trying to figure out my O day, but have only gotten crosshairs this past month and even then it was only when I discarded a really low temp (I think it was on CD14). Is there something you can do to increase CM? Does lack of it indicate a potential problem?

Thanks for your feedback!

Natalina read the FAM thread, I posted a big thing about CM there.
