I just wanted to share my excitement with my fellow Ladies in Waiting--I think we are almost ready to give our jeweler the go-ahead for THE RING!!!! It''s been a long process, and you guys were there for me when I was in total agony wondering if we would ever get here:

So I thought it would be nice if I bring a little happiness to this forum to offset the anxiety that I brought the last time I posted a new topic!

BF and I picked everything out together, and I went from wanting a Royal Asscher diamond to a yellow sapphire cushion w/a halo to a diamond cushion, so needless to say he has been very patient with me. I''m still waiting to hear back from Mark T about cushions at ERD, it''s been over a week and he was supposed to send me some info tonight. BUT, if I don''t hear from him by tomorrow I think we''re going to stick with the diamond that my local jeweler brought in, which I absolutely love. I''m just so excited!!!!

Thanks for being there for all my ranting, ladies! Hopefully I''ll have some hand shots to share very soon!

Mark has been a delight to work with, or so I hear....I actually couldn''t tell you because my BF is making sure I stay out of it.

But I HAVE seen some emails from Mark in my BF''s email (I was allowed to look, don''t worry) and I must say that it''s like getting an email from a celebrity.

So wait...does your jeweler already have a stone for you? TELL US ABOUT IT!!!

Thanks, Lucky! I am so excited, it''s almost hard to sit down and do actual work right now.

I''m surprised that it''s taken Mark so long to get back to me, I imagine it is because he is very busy considering his "eye" is in such high demand! We really did not expect our jeweler to be able to bring in anything competitive, but he did! I posted a thread asking about the cushion here:

I know everyone says it, but those pictures are horrible. The stone is so damn beautiful, I just went back in today to look at settings again and I think I like the stone more and more each time I go back. I can''t believe how sparkly it is, and how clear, oh man do I have diamond fever! I''ll post a pic to this thread too.

We want to wait to see what Mark comes up with before we make a final decision, so this may not be "the one" but I sure do love it!

I actually remember reading that thread, now that I think about it...but there were like 340840384 cushion threads going on at the same time that day, including my own! haha!

Anyway, that diamond is beautiful...and it has GREAT finger coverage!! What size ring are you? I LOVE the setting!

Poor Mark...he probably is slammed. (Wait...poor Mark? I''m sure he''s a cajillionaire by now!

) I don''t know how many people he''s working with right now, but I know it''s at least one! (My BF, obviously. lol.)
