Beautiful. (Just in case, do you have a thread dedicated to the ring in your avatar? )

Really impressive! Here's mine. It came from Yvonne recently.
I did pay to have it additionally certified given the cost of the stone. Confirmed that this baby came from Brazil!
I'll be honest. I was a bit taken aback at the colour when I opened the box- it is more blue than I had expected, I was hoping for something with a little more green in it. However, it does have a tiny amount of green in sunlight which is the look I was going for. I think it was the shade of blue and how... bright? the stone was that threw me for a bit. It glows. And the inclusions seem to help with that glow.
It's also a bit big for the ring design I had planned... may end up sitting on this one for awhile trying to decide how to set it
These photos are of it in direct sunlight to show that greeny blue colour I wanted!
What a beautiful color!
I think it's beautiful and I love the cushion shape.
I love this!!!! With such an amazing colour, a stone does not have to be any larger. What are the specs? I love your beautiful stack as well.

Thanks for sharing the specs! You have found the perfect setting for your stone.25ct, Paraiba from Brazil. I bought it through hiddentreasuregems on etsy. My big one in my avatar is Mozambique which I equally love. I lean towards the more blueish green colors, but this little windex color stone really is remarkable. The hardest part was finding a setting for it! It was really difficult to find something I liked for that small of a stone. I knew I would want to stack it too....
I love the first one!!Here is a couple Brazilian Paraiba tourmalines I thought you guys might like to see...
This one is not mine. I thought it was nice looking and figured I would share it anyways. See the price listed...$3000
Remember, if it doesn't have that strong color, paraibas are known for, then your paying waaaay to much for it.
Whatever you do with it, make sure your jewelry never ever puts in in an ultrasonic cleaner!!Thanks everyone. The paraiba is actually slightly lighter than the photos suggest.
The colour stability is excellent! In different lighting, the colour is pretty much the same. Maybe under yellow light (indoors), it goes slightly more green.
No plans for it yet. Either ring or pendant. Probably won't set it for a while
Not sure if these beauties have been posted already, but we do not want to run the risk of not including these, don’t we?
From @missy ‘s blue thread:
@chappy ‘s spectacular Paraiba pendant? Do you have a separate thread for this gem chappy?
Unset Paraiba gorgeousness by @Sparkle_ruckle !
Edit to add that.chappy’s gorgeous piece is featured on page 3 with a link to her thread. We cannot see enough of our Paraibas though!
