Woohoo! @‘s newly acquired 2,05 heat only Paraiba, made it to her top 5. What a stunning and saturated collection with a glowing Paraiba that deserves that stunning setting

This beauty belongs to @lucida818 .
Somehow her name disappeared while posting.

Love love love that paraiba ring!!! It's a mind blowing color. Sorry about the almond slivers. Those suckers burn in seconds! :cry2:

Thank you @TL & Burmesedaze
I should perhaps eat the charred almonds at nite with all lights switched off  Btw it’s a preowned piece & I am wondering why its tip isn’t covered?
I should wear it with the tip facing me for time being in hope to reduce the risk of chipping. Am still thinking should I reset it?

Thanks for yr compliments @lovedogs & sympathy too :boohoo:
In the place where I live, Paraiba isn’t very commonly known & seen. Eg.the first time I wore it out to a mall, a total stranger complimented it “you have a really nice topaz ring” I smiled (rather sweetly) & thanked her politely. Didn’t see any point in explaining!

@lucida818 which country are you based in?

Your paraiba has a huge halo which I think will protect the tip quite well. But will let the experience CS-ers weigh in and also perhaps can check with your regular jeweller/s?

@icy_jade, same as you :tongue:
Sadly I don’t really hv a trusted one :(

Your glowing Paraiba will look amaizing amidst the charred almonds! Thanks for the extra pics!!!

Now, 2 more photos!

Now that is a freaking gorgeous specimen. You wouldn’t mind if I just “borrowed” it, right? Right? *crickets*

Paraiba’s and cuprians in the Fabulous below 1250$ thread? Only if you are as stone savvy as @T_L. Gorgeous!!!!
Thanks @Acinom for posting this ring. I think I should stress that this stone, although pleasant looking, is NOT what you should be paying a premium for in paraiba. It does not have that neon glow, and looks exactly like an aquamarine. Now, the above gorgeous pear shaped ring owned by @lucida818 IS what you want in a paraiba.

2.26 paraiba.jpg

This is a 2.26 ct mozambique at my local jeweler. They have a list price of $34,000. I remember when I sold a pair of Brazilian 4 ctw for $16,000. Wow times have changed.

Is that included? If so, it is way overpriced.

No it’s not included

I bought a 2.78ct oval Mozambique with perfect transparency on eBay for a steal.

Oh yes! This gorgeous pendant belongs to @voce . A selection of her bright collection, including a stunning Paraiba ring:

Thanks, Acinom, for putting my pendant in the thread. I need to set the record straight that the ring with the blue center is a regular indicolite, not a paraiba.

That ‘regular’ indicolite sure glows like a Paraiba. Great find.
Your collection is just amazing

Omg, I'm floored, you have the most amazing collection, including a 2ct+ paraiba set by Leon Mege. It's such a compliment coming from you!

I do pride myself sometimes on my finds. The indicolite there was less than $400, and my unheated ruby engagement ring was $3k new, both acquired in 2018. Of course, if you look for those things now at those prices, you'll turn up nothing, because I already bought the steals. :P2
