I thought he engraving would cause a slight delay but they're so speedy and still able to deliver a quality product! Is he sending it out tomorrow?

Thursday is the day! Fair warning that my hands and nails are a mess since I’ve been painting my house the past month. So sick of painting!

Also my SIL is coming to visit this weekend (I have written about our strained relationship) so this delivery is perfect timing. I can just admire my ring instead of rolling my eyes

Screw her. I hate toxic people. I haven’t come upon your thread about your relationship with her so I’m not familiar with it all but you’re one of the nicest people on PS and if she’s a pita to you, she’s a pita to me!

I know terrible to keep you hanging. Believe me when I tell you that I would much rather have preferred to stay home and savor the experience. Mom life!

I snapped these really quickly while the kids were playing outside. It is divine, the halo even sparkles despite having no diamonds. It weighs 7.43 grams but it isn’t too weighty at all. The diameter is literally perfect for my rather hefty fingers. Originally I named this diamond Goldie but her new name is Goldilocks because she is “just right”. The diamond itself is 1.18 carats, SI2 clarity, I don’t have an official color, sold to me as champagne. It is an old mine cut, beautiful puffy crown and all.

A big thank you to @diamondseeker2006 for so graciously letting me use this design. Also obviously a big huge thank you to David and Amy for their patience and quality of work.

Excuse my nails, I have been painting and they show it! These are taken in all different lighting, some inside and some outside.

Gotta say that I was a little worried about losing the diamonds but this engraving more than makes up for that.

Thanks @Slick1, you were inspiration to look at bezels a little closer and I’m glad I did. Also working with David….I don’t have to tell you how amazing he is. Only wish I had taken the leap earlier!
