@lizzydm26, thank you! This diamond NEEDS to be in yellow gold. I tried it out in white metal and it only lasted a hot minute since it washed all the color out.

I know terrible to keep you hanging. Believe me when I tell you that I would much rather have preferred to stay home and savor the experience. Mom life!

I snapped these really quickly while the kids were playing outside. It is divine, the halo even sparkles despite having no diamonds. It weighs 7.43 grams but it isn’t too weighty at all. The diameter is literally perfect for my rather hefty fingers. Originally I named this diamond Goldie but her new name is Goldilocks because she is “just right”. The diamond itself is 1.18 carats, SI2 clarity, I don’t have an official color, sold to me as champagne. It is an old mine cut, beautiful puffy crown and all.

A big thank you to @diamondseeker2006 for so graciously letting me use this design. Also obviously a big huge thank you to David and Amy for their patience and quality of work.

Excuse my nails, I have been painting and they show it! These are taken in all different lighting, some inside and some outside.

So gorgeous! The yellow gold bezel looks great with the stone, and of course, I adore the engraved halo! I wish I could take credit for thinking of that, but I once saw a ring David had done before with an engraved halo. My daughter had said she loves engraving, so that's how her pendant ended up with the engraved halo! Enjoy your beautiful ring!

@nala, aw thanks so much. I do love it and it feels like a tank ( in a good way) compared to my prior setting. There really isn’t anything I would do differently. Yes more pictures next week after SIL has left and things are back to normal.

thank you @maryjane04, honestly I didn’t enjoy the design process, it’s just not my thing. Essentially I just picked pieces David posted on his IG (a pendant and ring) and put them together. Luckily it worked out!
