Think I have found the one dress to do it all (pics)

Okay, with my debate over my original sample gown being too difficult to move in, I was considering getting another dress to wear to the reception. But, I think I may have found one dress to wear to everything. It is the Romona Keveza I mentioned in my last thread about dresses. I think I am going to order this week. I snuck some pics for you guys. The skirt will be much snugger through the thighs, with an overall trumpet look. It is all bunched up because we had to roll it at the waist to get it to stay up. Also, the ruffle will be slightly smaller. I like it because it has the couture different look, but still looks very classic and elegant. Also, it doesn''t cut me off like some mermaid gowns, so I like the longer silhouette.

I love the dress... when you say you are getting the ruffle smaller, do you mean the ruffle at the top of the bust? I think that would be a smart move. The large ruffle overwhelms your petite frame a bit. It reminds me of a victorian dress with the ruffles and buttons! So beautiful.

Although I do have to add, I am still partial to you Vera sample gown. I absolutely LOVE that dress on you! It hugs your curves beautiful, but you need to be comfortable on your wedding day (being able to move is crutial haha!). Either dress would be a lovely choice for your big day!

Both ruffles will be slightly smaller. The one I am wearing is 3.5" wide, but she also makes a 3" ruffle that I am going to request instead. It won''t be a huge difference, but I think it might be enough. If not, I can always get the seamstress to shorten the ruffles.
