i over heard a couple sat next to our table (they were speaking cantoness)

wife said; our 10 th anniversary is comming up soon sure would love to have my e-ring upgraded

husband said; has it been that long ?

wife said; yes ,time flies by

husband said; i rather upgrade my wife you are getting too OLD plus its a lot cheaper(he look at least 15+ yrs older than the wife) .

LOL, for some reason I can only imagine Chinese people making that kind of joke. (I''m Chinese myself so I know the culture.) I would never think that a man of Western ideals could get away with speaking to his wife like that.
